Holiday at the Arboretum runs 11 November 2026 to 3 January 2027. The daytime gate opens at 9am and closes at 4pm. The Christmas Village, the decorated DeGolyer House and the twelve 12 Days of Christmas gazebos sit inside that window.
The daytime window and its price
Daytime admission buys 9am to 4pm. The Holiday page prices adults at $21.95 to $25.95 and children aged 3 to 12 at $17.95 to $21.95. Children under 3 enter free. Members enter free. Museums for All admission costs $3. The exact cost appears when a date is selected.
The Hours and Admission page splits the same prices by day of the week. Monday through Thursday reads $21.95 for an adult and $17.95 for a child. Friday through Sunday reads $25.95 and $21.95.
Four hours, two ways to place it
A 9am entry reaches 1pm. A noon entry reaches the 4pm close. Both blocks sit inside the daytime ticket. A meeting that ends at 11:30 allows the noon entry. A meeting that starts at 2pm allows the morning block.
The lights run on a second ticket
Holiday at Night runs 5pm to 10pm as a separate product on the same page. Adults pay $35 to $40. Members pay $20 to $25. Advance online purchase saves money. Walk-up pricing adds $4.
Night Owl runs 8:30pm to 10pm at $15 for general admission and members alike. It sells online only. Holiday Cheer runs 5pm to 10pm at $12 and applies to 26 November, 24 December, 25 December, 31 December and 1 January.
Three of those five Holiday Cheer dates fall on closure days. The Hours and Admission page states that the Arboretum is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. 26 November 2026 is a Thursday, 25 December 2026 is a Friday and 1 January 2027 is a Friday. The box office is (214) 515-6615.
The twelfth and final season
The page calls this run the twelfth season and the last one. Twelve glass-sided gazebos have stood on the 66 acres since 2014. The line on the page reads: 12 Years. 12 Days. One Final Chorus.
Christmas Village holds the Santa visits. The DeGolyer House carries festive decor. The class list adds a Yule Log session with La Casita Bakeshop on 14 November from 11am to 1pm.
Parking at $15 and three ways in
Parking costs $15 per vehicle plus applicable tax and fees. Museums for All admission includes complimentary parking. Members park free year-round for up to two pre-registered vehicles. That registration must happen in advance or the standard fee applies.
Entry 1 at 8525 Garland Road is the main entrance. It leads to A Tasteful Place, the DeGolyer House, the Hoffman Family Gift Shop and Seated Tea. Entry 3 at 8657 Garland Road faces the Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden and the Concert Lawn. Entry 4 at 8720 Garland Road is the parking garage, across Garland Road from the children's garden and joined to it by a secure accessible underground walkway.
Crossing 66 acres on a short visit
Complimentary wheelchairs sit at the Ticket Booth on a first-come, first-served basis. Mobility scooters rent on site for $20 to $30.
Tram tours leave Tram Stop 1 at the Main Entrance and Tram Stop 2 by the Children's Garden at 10am, noon, 2pm and 4pm. A round trip takes about 40 minutes and reaches the central garden areas and the DeGolyer House. Trams carry no wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, coolers or large items. Trams cannot be reserved. They do not run on high-attendance days.
The 4pm departure leaves at the hour the daytime window closes. The noon or 2pm departure carries a four-hour visit. The same page warns that parts of the historic landscape may be inaccessible because of the topography.
