The Texas Trophy Hunters Association brings the Outdoors Extravaganza back to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas on January 8 to 10, 2027. The organiser's FAQ prints the floor hours: Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The building sits at 650 S Griffin St.
The same page fixes the exit. Exhibitors may not begin moving out until the show closes. Every exhibitor must clear the venue by 11 p.m. on Sunday. On-site security stops at close of business on Sunday at 5 p.m.
A cashless building with no print desk
The building is a cashless facility. Select event exhibitors may accept cash. Two ATMs cover the rest, one on Level 2 in the A Lobby and one on Level 2 in the C Lobby.
The facility has no on-site business center. The adjacent Omni Dallas Hotel carries a UPS Business Center on its campus. A document that needs a signature on paper means a walk next door or a file loaded before the drive in.
Free Wi-Fi runs through all common areas and meeting rooms on the network named "Free Internet." That covers browsing, mail and a call on a headset.
Booking a door for the call
Two food counters operate on Level 2 in the C Lobby. Kay's Place pours Starbucks drip coffee, teas and espressos with pastries. Go Natural builds deli sandwiches, wraps and salads, with gluten-free and vegetarian options. Concession hours vary by event.
The building lists no locker, no bag check and no coat check. A day room covers the part the building leaves open: a desk, a door, a shower between sessions and a place to leave the bag.
Parking charges by the entry
ACE Parking runs the on-site garage and the surface lot. Pricing is per day and per entry, with no in and out. The garage at Memorial Dr. and S Griffin St. charges $20 across two levels and 1,200 spots. Lot C at 502 S Lamar St. charges $17 across 170 spots. Both run first-come, first-served.
That rule sets the shape of a working day. A mid-afternoon drive out and back costs a second entry. A laptop carrier stays in the building until 5 p.m. or holds a room within walking distance. Rideshare drops at Lower C Driveway between Lamar and Griffin Streets.
The venue prints its own airport figures. Dallas Love Field sits seven miles away. DFW runs about 30 minutes. Dallas Executive Airport sits 10 minutes out.
The 9-to-5 window, priced
hotelslots.org sells day rooms in four slots: Morning 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., Afternoon 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Evening 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. and Overnight 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. The site advertises 30 to 75 percent off the nightly rate, no booking fees, and payment made direct to the hotel. Its day-use page prints a narrower band of 40 to 60 percent less than overnight.
A Friday or Saturday working block spans the morning and afternoon slots. The Sunday block starts an hour later.
The Dayuse Dallas page read on October 23, 2026 listed 29 day-use properties. Prices ran from $61 to $259, with booking fees of $5 to $10 already inside those figures.
Hyatt Regency Dallas sells a 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. window at $160 against a $290 nightly rate, 0.44 straight-line miles from 650 S Griffin St. Hotel Crescent Court sells 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at $230 against $600, 1.34 miles out. Home2 Suites by Hilton Dallas Downtown at Baylor Scott and White runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at $102 against $300, 1.56 miles out. That window covers the full Sunday grid and clips an hour off Friday and Saturday.
hotelslots.org states that it charges no booking fees and that the guest pays the hotel directly. Read that line beside the Dayuse card price before booking either.
The working day, in order
Friday and Saturday: park once before 9 a.m., work the morning from the hall, book a day room for the 1 p.m. call, and keep the afternoon on the floor. Sunday: a 10 a.m. open suits a 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. window. The 5 p.m. close matches the security cutoff to the minute.
Luggage needs its own answer. A bag rides on the shoulder or waits in a room. A day booking covers a desk, a door, a shower and a locked place for the case.
