The Daytime Room Is the Unsold Slot at Lights All Night

Lights All Night runs 30 and 31 December 2026 at Fair Park, 3809 Grand Avenue, Dallas. The organiser publishes one timetable for both nights. Parking lots open at 5:00 PM. The box office opens at 5:00 PM. Gates open at 6:00 PM. The event ends at 3:00 AM.

That is nine hours from gate to close on each night. The guide names multiple stages, and the location page states that all main stages sit fully indoors in a climate-controlled space.

A weekday label that misses the calendar

The guide heads its second night Day 2: Wednesday, December 31st. 31 December 2026 falls on a Thursday. The dates, the 5:00 PM lot opening, the 6:00 PM gate and the 3:00 AM close repeat on both nights. The weekday label is the only field that disagrees with the calendar.

What the gate will not take

The item policy caps bags at 12 by 12 inches. Multi-pocket bags are prohibited. Luggage is prohibited. A guest flying into Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, the area airport named on the location page, with a roller bag has nowhere to put that bag at the gate.

The festival rents lockers inside the grounds. The guide measures a personal locker at approximately 8 inches high, 11 inches wide and 17 inches deep, and offers a version with phone charging. A guest redeems a locker at the rental station with the merchandise ticket and photo ID.

A day room takes the suitcase and gives the guest a shower and a socket. The booking runs by the hour, and the guest needs it before the 6:00 PM gate.

Water, identification and the bar

Free water refill stations sit across the grounds. Reusable aluminium bottles and clear plastic bottles must arrive empty, and a factory-sealed single-serve bottle is limited to one per person. Bars serve beer and liquor to guests 21 and older with valid identification. Admission is open to guests 18 and older.

No re-entry sets the shape of the day

The code of conduct reads NO Re-entry or Ins and Outs. A guest who passes the gate at 6:00 PM next exits at the 3:00 AM close. Everything needed for nine hours is carried in or stowed in a locker.

The location page adds three parking rules that shape a plan built around a room. Tailgating is prohibited. Overnight parking is prohibited. Camping or sleeping in a vehicle is prohibited. The same page states that more parking information will be shared closer to the event.

The daylight windows on sale

Day-use inventory in Dallas, read on 22 October 2026 from the Dayuse city page, lists 20 priced properties. The cards run $61 to $230 all-in, with booking fees of $5 to $10 and a card average of $95.30. Windows open between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM and close between noon and 11:00 PM. Eighteen of the 20 cards carry at least one window that ends at 5:00 PM or later.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Dallas Downtown at Baylor Scott & White sells three windows from $95 plus a $7 booking fee: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The property sits 1.37 miles straight-line from the park address at 3809 Grand Avenue. The last window opens at the hour the lots open and closes at 11:00 PM, four hours before the show.

Comfort Inn & Suites Dallas Medical-Market Center sells from $65 plus $6 on 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and noon to 8:00 PM windows, 5.58 miles from the park address. Sleep Inn Dallas Love Field-Medical District sells from $74 plus $6 on four windows, including 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, 7.29 miles out. Baymont by Wyndham Dallas/Love Field sells from $55 plus $6 on four windows from 6:00 AM to noon through 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, 9.07 miles out.

Hotel Crescent Court sells a single 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM window from $220 plus $10, 2.65 miles from the park address. Embassy Suites Dallas Market Center sells a single 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM window from $105 plus $7, 5.19 miles out.

Reading a window against a 5:00 PM lot

A guest who wants a shower and a bag drop before the gate reads the end hour first. The Home2 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM window ends at the hour the lots open. The Comfort Inn noon to 8:00 PM window ends two hours after the gate. The Sleep Inn 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM window opens at the gate and closes four hours before the show does.

No card publishes a check-in or check-out term. Each one sells a fixed window, and the window is the agreement.

Two nights, and the wristband deadline

Guests doing both nights need the same arrangement twice, because the timetable repeats. The guide sets one date that matters before travel: an order placed by Wednesday 2 December ships the wristband to the buyer.

The printed figures are these. Two nights, 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM, nine hours each and 18 gate hours in total. Lots and box office at 5:00 PM. Locker interior 8 by 11 by 17 inches. Bag cap 12 by 12 inches. Twenty priced day cards at a card average of $95.30, at straight-line distances of 1.37 to 9.07 miles from the park address.
