Three days, 60,000 square feet, one pass

SATShow Week 2027 runs 8-11 March at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The conference opens Monday 8 March. The exhibition runs Tuesday 9 March through Thursday 11 March, and the schedule grid prints three floor blocks: Tuesday 10:00 to 17:45, Wednesday 09:00 to 18:00, and Thursday 09:00 to 13:00 under the label "Exhibit Hall | Final Day".

The organiser's 2026 recap and its why-attend page put the floor at 60,000+ square feet with guided tours across it. Registration opens Sunday 7 March at 08:00 and runs to 17:00.

What sits on the floor

The exhibit-hall page counts 500+ vendors across three days on the floor. The program page and the home page put attendance at 15,000+ from 110+ countries. The schedule grid labels the hall 450+ vendors, and the home page FAQ prints 450+ vendors in its exhibitor answer. Both figures come from the organiser and describe the same hall.

The why-attend page lists the segments on the floor: antennas, terminals, ground systems, RF components, propulsion, launch services, software platforms, cybersecurity and remote sensing. The 2026 recap lists 24 product and technology categories that attendees registered interest in, from satellite networks and satellite equipment through modems, test equipment and geolocation services.

GovMilSpace shares the exhibit hall and runs its own programme. The FAQ states that both experiences share the hall and that GovMilSpace carries the defence and government track.

The app does the scheduling

The Meeting Hub and the SATShow Week mobile app let attendees book conversations before the floor opens. Attendees at the 2026 edition arranged about 900 meetings through the app. The 2026 recap counts 14,738 attendees, 100+ countries, 6,400+ companies and roughly 900 meetings arranged.

The recap breaks the audience down: 39% C-suite or executive leadership, 34% government and military agencies, 41% first-time attendees. Nine in ten attendees influence or control purchasing decisions.

Meetings can be set at a booth or in the dedicated Meeting Hub, and the recap states that the tool works best when the profile is set and requests go in before the show opens.

Covering the hall in three days

Three published blocks set the shape of the three days. Tuesday 11:00 to 12:30 is the Startup Space Entrepreneur Pitch Contest, and the Tuesday happy hour runs 16:30 to 17:45. Wednesday 12:00 to 13:30 is the Via Satellite Awards Luncheon, and the Wednesday hall runs to 18:00 with a happy hour from 16:30 to 18:00. Thursday carries the CyberSat Exchange from 08:30 to 12:00.

The recap lists 24 categories. A buyer with a target list can work one category per half day across the three floor blocks.

Wednesday is the longest hall day at nine hours. Tuesday gives seven hours and 45 minutes. Thursday gives four.

What Thursday's half day still buys

Four hours on the floor, 09:00 to 13:00. That covers a return visit to three or four booths, one second-pass conversation, and the spec sheets that need a signature before the weekend.

Thursday also carries a closing keynote from 11:30 to 12:00, and the CyberSat Exchange runs 08:30 to 12:00 on the same morning. A buyer who wants both picks one and sends a colleague to the other.

A Thursday afternoon flight gives four hours of hall time and the keynote. A Friday morning flight adds a Thursday evening for the write-up.

The room between sessions

Day rooms sell fixed windows. Rates below come from the Dayuse Washington carousel, read on 24 October 2026. Each price is the all-in day rate, with the room-only rate and the fee beside it. Distances are straight-line from the convention centre pin at 38.9051269, -77.0229544.

AC Hotel Washington DC Convention Center sits 0.22 miles from the hall and sells $104 at 10:00-17:00 and 13:00-19:00, with a $99 room rate and a $5 fee. The seven District cards average $125.71 for a day. The carousel carried 20 priced properties across the District, Virginia and Maryland at a $105.90 average.

The Wednesday hall closes at 18:00 and the Thursday floor opens at 09:00, fifteen hours apart. A window from 15:00 to 20:00 covers the write-up, the shower and the evening calls.

Travel and the venue

The organiser books its official block through Connections Housing, with group rates held until the block sells out or the cutoff arrives. DCA sits about 8 miles south and connects to the Yellow and Blue lines. IAD is about 35 miles west on the Silver Line. BWI is about 42 miles north on MARC or by rideshare. Union Station is a 15-minute Metro ride from the Convention Center, and Amtrak Flex fares allow changes without a change fee.

Green and Yellow line trains stop at Mt. Vernon Square/7th Street-Convention Center, and the venue sits directly adjacent to the station exit. More than 3,000 parking spaces sit within a three-block radius, first-come. Complimentary Wi-Fi in the building runs at 768 kBps upload and download.

Booking the slot

hotelSlots lists 103,857+ hotels across 46 states and sells four windows: morning 6am-12pm, afternoon 12pm-6pm, evening 6pm-12am and overnight 12am-6am. Its home page quotes day rates at 30-75% below the nightly rate at the same property, and its day-use page quotes 40-60%. It charges no booking fee and passes payment to the hotel. Its directory has no District of Columbia page, so the Washington rates here come from Dayuse.

Three of the four exhibition days fall on weekdays. Book the Thursday window with the badge, before the 11:30 keynote.
