WWETT Show Day Rooms: Expo Hours and the 1:00pm Thursday Close

The floor closes at 1:00pm on Thursday

The WWETT Water & Wastewater Equipment, Treatment & Transport Show runs February 22 to 25, 2027 at the Indiana Convention Center, 100 South Capitol Ave, Indianapolis. The venue lists a forecast attendance of 14,000. The organiser, Informa Markets, splits the week in two: a conference from February 22 to 25 and an expo hall from February 23 to 25.

The expo hall hours settle the shape of the week. Tuesday, February 23 and Wednesday, February 24 run 9:00am to 5:00pm. Thursday, February 25 closes at 1:00pm. The conference runs Monday 9:00am to 5:30pm, Tuesday 10:30am to 5:00pm, Wednesday 8:30am to 4:00pm and Thursday 8:30am to 11:00am.

Two full floor days and one short one is the pattern a day-use booking answers. A supplier representative who drives in from elsewhere in Indiana can work Tuesday, work Wednesday and take a room on Thursday morning instead of a fourth night.

What the day costs against the night

Dayuse publishes an average price of $87.43 for a day room in Indianapolis. Engine puts the city average nightly rate at $128 across 1.2 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026, and those are par rates: the cheapest publicly available price at the time of each search, not negotiated or booked rates. Engine ranks Indianapolis 39th of 50 major markets, 14 percent below the $148 median.

February is the cheapest month in that series at $107 a night, 16 percent below the city average. May peaks at $158, 23 percent above it. Rates swing 32 percent across the year, so a February convention week sits in the softest part of the calendar.

Slots, and what a four-hour window buys

hotelSlots sells day-use rooms in four blocks: Morning 6AM to 12PM, Afternoon 12PM to 6PM, Evening 6PM to 12AM and Overnight 12AM to 6AM. A guest can book one slot or combine several for full-day coverage. A day-use room runs typically 6 to 8 hours.

For the Thursday close, the Morning block covers the 9:00am floor opening and runs half an hour past the 1:00pm shutdown. For the two full days, Morning and Afternoon together cover the whole floor window plus the turnaround before an evening session. hotelSlots states that its day-use rates run 30 to 75 percent below nightly rates at the same hotels.

Between sessions, the room is the office

The platform describes the day-use room as a quiet, professional space with reliable Wi-Fi, away from home distractions. Its work page lists desk and ergonomic seating, business-grade internet, gym and restaurant breaks between calls, and privacy for calls. Its guide to day passes frames the same room as a focused office with a real desk and a clean shower between calls, and notes that a four-hour afternoon window suits a shower, a nap and a focused stretch of work.

The platform states that pool, gym, Wi-Fi and shower access are included on a day-use booking. Its short-stay guide states that Wi-Fi, a proper desk, gym access, pool access and parking can all vary by property. Confirm the inclusions on the specific listing before booking.

Ground-floor entrances and the skywalk route

The show's attendee FAQ addresses access directly. All ground-floor entrances to the Indiana Convention Center are accessible by wheelchair and scooter, and the second-floor skywalks to each hotel are accessible by elevator. Scooter rentals are available onsite, with the 2027 scooter schedule to be posted once it is available.

The convention centre publishes 4,700 rooms connected to the building by skywalk, against 7,100 hotel rooms in downtown Indianapolis, 200 downtown restaurants within walking distance and a 15-minute trip to Indianapolis International Airport. It states that the closing and opening window for the facility and its skywalks is event-dependent, with a rule of thumb of lockdown at about 11:00 p.m. and reopening at about 6:00 a.m.

Badges are not mailed. Pick up a badge at the Main Registration area in meeting rooms 101 to 106, or at the Hall C Main Entrance, and scan in for any classroom session. Registration for 2027 opens in the fall of 2026.

What the venue does not publish

The convention centre event page for WWETT carries the name, the dates, the venue and the 14,000 forecast. It carries no room assignment and no door time, so the organiser pages are the source for hours. The show is a trade event, and anyone 17 or under is admitted only with parental supervision.

The organiser dates the show to a 1979 trade paper for septic contractors. The WWETT name arrived in 2015, and the organiser reports more than 13,500 people in Indianapolis each year. Its hotel programme runs through onPeak as the only provider it endorses, with discounted rates that typically average 30 percent less than other travel sites. Its home page puts those savings across more than 20 downtown hotels and its attendee page puts the same programme at more than 15.

Booking the day

hotelSlots covers 103,857+ hotels across 46 US states and is free to use, with no booking fees and no commission markup. The guest pays the hotel directly for the slot at the day-use rate. State travel law restricts day-use bookings in Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington, and Indiana is not among them.

Day-use inventory is limited by design, and hotelSlots states that the best slots at the best properties fill first, especially weekday afternoons. Confirm the rate, the slot times and the included amenities on the individual listing before booking.
