TDX 2027 Lands on Two Weekdays in San Francisco

The events index carries the TDX card as “San Francisco and Salesforce+” and dates it March 10-11, 2027. March 10 falls on a Wednesday and March 11 on a Thursday. The card carries the line “The annual celebration conference for Salesforce developers, admins, architects & IT leaders.” It names the city and the broadcast. The Moscone Center's own events feed dates TDX 2027 to Moscone West, at 800 Howard Street, on March 10-11, 2027.

Registration for 2027 is not open. The TDX site still serves its 2026 pages, and the banner reads “Save the date for TDX 2027.” Every operational figure below carries its 2026 label, because that is the number Salesforce published for the last edition.

The Two Level 1 Amenities a Remote Worker Uses

The TDX 2026 FAQ answered both questions on Moscone West, Level 1. The Quiet Room is “a low-sensory space available for guests to take a break and relax”, and the house rule sits beside it: “Please use a soft voice, silence phones, and be mindful, respectful, and quiet.” The FAQ places the room “by Bag and Coat Check”, so the two services share a corner of the floor.

The bag rule decides who needs the counter. “Bags or backpacks exceeding 12" x 18" x 6" will not be allowed into TDX 2026 this year. These must be checked at our Bag and Coat Check prior to entrance. All bags are subject to search.” The 2026 hours ran Wednesday, April 15: 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 16: 7:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

The Quiet Room Publishes No Desk

The FAQ describes a break space. It publishes no desk, no power bank, no booking window and no seat count. The same page returns no hit for “workspace”, “work space”, “co-work”, “cowork” or “shower” across its full length. A developer who takes a call between a breakout and a roundtable has no published private room on the floor.

A day room 0.1 mile from the hall supplies the desk, the door and the shower.

The Lobby Wi-Fi Ceiling Is 1 Mbps

Moscone Facility Services publishes its own network numbers. “The Moscone Center attendee WiFi service is provided by Moscone Facility Services and is available throughout the street level lobbies of Moscone South, Moscone North, and Moscone West.” The next line sets the ceiling: “This free, unsupported service is rate-limited to 1Mbps up and down.” The venue quotes a higher tier for session rooms and exhibit halls. The TDX FAQ carries no Wi-Fi line of its own.

Four Hotels at 0.1 Mile, Ranked by the 2026 Hotel List

The TDX 2026 Official Hotel List ranks fifteen properties by distance from the hall. Four sit 0.1 mile out: InterContinental San Francisco, 888 Howard Street; San Francisco Marriott Marquis, 780 Mission Street; The St. Regis San Francisco, 125 Third Street; and W San Francisco, 181 Third Street. The Palace Hotel at 2 New Montgomery Street, Parc 55 at 55 Cyril Magnin Street and The Clancy at 299 Second Street sit 0.4 mile out.

The same list sets the cancellation clock hotel by hotel. Eight properties run a 24-hour window, five run 72 hours and two run 48 hours. InterContinental is one of the two 48-hour properties. Rates on the list ran until March 23, 2026 or until the block sold out, and a one-night deposit became chargeable after March 24, 2026.

Moscone West stands at 800 Howard St. The venue directs BART and MUNI riders to Powell station for Moscone West, and states plainly, “The Moscone Center does not have on-site parking.” Its FAQ counts the supply: “There are over 20,000 hotel rooms within walking distance of The Moscone Center.” The same page states the center “does not rent rooms on an individual basis”.

What a Day Room Costs

hotelSlots books day-use rooms in four windows: Morning (6AM-12PM), Afternoon (12PM-6PM), Evening (6PM-12AM) and Overnight (12AM-6AM). Day-use rates run typically 30-75% below the nightly rate at the same property, the platform charges no booking fees, and you pay the hotel directly. hotelSlots covers 46 states with 103,857+ hotels offering day-use rooms. A few states (FL, HI, IA, WA) restrict day-use bookings under state travel laws, and California is not one of them.

The day-use platform's San Francisco page, read on 15 October 2026, publishes “an average price of $119.61 for a day room in San Francisco”. Its card set runs from $91 at The Mosser Hotel to $159 at Taj Campton Place, and carries Hotel Caza Fisherman's Wharf at $107, Hilton San Francisco Financial District at $116, Axiom Hotel San Francisco at $122, Hotel Zeppelin San Francisco at $138, Hotel Zelos San Francisco at $144 and Hotel Zetta San Francisco at $152. The Mosser card prints a 5-minute walk to the Moscone Center.

The nightly bar runs higher in March. Engine puts San Francisco at $165 a night across 3.1M rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026, and its month table puts March at $197, the highest figure on the page. December is the lowest at $129. TDX 2027 falls in March.

Booking the Two Days

Pick the slot against the day. An afternoon window covers the walk in from Powell station, a full session block and a reset before dinner. A morning window covers the 6:30 a.m. bag-check opening that the 2026 run published, or the 7:00 a.m. opening on day two. Booking both windows gives a base for the run.
