Friday, November 6, 2026, runs 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, November 7, runs 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The parish prints both windows on the festival home page. Friday is a six-hour evening. Saturday is an eleven-hour day. That length sets the arithmetic for a day room.
The festival occupies St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church at 2418 W. Swann Ave, Tampa, FL 33609. The parish has hosted the event for over 40 years.
Saturday outlasts every downtown day window
Dayuse listed 13 priced Tampa cards on the 22 October 2026 read. Three sit downtown. Aloft Tampa Downtown sells $116, a $7 booking fee included, on a 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. window. Le Méridien Tampa, The Courthouse sells $138, $9 included, on 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown sells $148, $9 included, on 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Westin Tampa Waterside sells $138, $9 included, on 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the platform files it under Southeast Tampa.
Straight-line distance from the church to those four runs 1.7 miles for Aloft, 1.8 for the Westin, 1.9 for Le Méridien and 1.9 for Hotel Flor. Those figures pair the coordinates Nominatim returns for 2418 W. Swann Ave with each card's published position.
Run the windows against the Saturday clock. A 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. room covers five of the eleven festival hours. Hotel Flor's 5 p.m. close covers six. Le Méridien's window opens at 2 p.m., three hours after the gate, and closes at 8 p.m., two hours before the last dance set.
Friday fits the same cards differently. The 4 p.m. start sits inside Le Méridien's 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. window for four hours. It sits inside Hotel Flor's 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. window for one hour. The two 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. windows close as the festival opens.
What fills eleven hours
The kitchen serves homemade Greek cuisine, pastries and made-to-order Greek donuts with honey and nuts. The bars pour beer, wine, coffee and specialty drinks. An outdoor oasis carries cocktails and Greek appetizers. Live music runs throughout from John Demas & the Omega Project. Dancing runs in the Grand Hall and in the OPA! Party Tent. A market stocks Greek and Mediterranean provisions. A store carries books, icons and jewelry. A separate kids zone serves kid food and snacks.
Takeout takes two routes. An online order at takeout.tampagreekfestival.com collects curbside. Inside the festival, a guest asks for a to-go container at the main food line.
The 2025 grid, printed as the pattern
The festival runs its schedule on a separate subdomain. That page serves a PDF headed 2025 CHURCH TOUR, DANCE, & CHOIR SCHEDULE. Its day headings read Friday, November 7 and Saturday, November 8, which were the 2025 weekdays. No 2026 grid is posted.
Friday: 6:30 p.m. Parea Dance Group, 7:00 church tour, 7:30 Panigyri Dance Group, 8:00 Parea, 8:30 Panigyri. Saturday: 12:30 Parea, 1:00 church tour, 1:30 Y Hara Mas, 2:30 Panigyri, 3:30 church tour and choral presentation by the St. John Choir, 4:30 Y Hara Mas, 5:30 Parea, 6:30 Panigyri, 7:00 church tour, 7:30 Parea with a dance lesson after, 8:30 Panigyri.
The shape of that Saturday sets the plan. The first dance group goes on 90 minutes after the 11 a.m. gate. The last goes on at 8:30 p.m., 90 minutes before the 10 p.m. close.
Six numbered lots off four streets
The parking map numbers six areas. Lot 1 holds guest parking with access from S. Moody Ave, behind the second building on the right. Lot 2 holds takeout parking from the same street, behind the corner building. Lot 3 is disabled and elderly parking at Regions Bank, 2405 W. Swann Ave. Lot 4 is guest parking at WealthTrust at Raymond James, 706 S. Moody Ave. Lot 5 is guest parking at FL Urology Partners, 601 S. Armenia Ave. Lot 6 is guest parking at Children's Nest Day School, 2601 W. De Leon St.
Rideshare drop-off and pickup sit in the rear parking of the church. The route runs to the intersection of W. Swann Ave and S. Moody Ave, south on S. Moody Ave, then right into the lot after the first large building on the corner. Takeout pickup uses the same route and carries signs.
The parish states that the festival has parking for plates marked for people with disabilities, that the site is wheelchair accessible, and that crowds are common. Service dogs are the only dogs allowed, on a leash and outdoors.
What the platform sells
hotelslots.org sells four time slots: Morning 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., Afternoon 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Evening 6 p.m. to 12 a.m., and Overnight 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. The platform advertises 30 to 75 percent off nightly rates, no booking fees, and 103,857 hotels across 46 states. Its FAQ answers the state question in one line: a few states (FL, HI, IA, WA) restrict day-use bookings under state travel laws. The Florida directory path returns a 404 with a 2-byte body on the same read.
A reader can price the room against the hours it holds. The Four Points at Westshore sells a 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. window at 2.3 miles from the church. That window covers the gate, the first two dance sets, the 1 p.m. church tour and the 3:30 choral presentation.
Printed figures for the weekend: gates at 4 p.m. and 11 a.m., closes at 10 p.m. on both days, six numbered parking areas, and 13 priced Tampa day cards from $66 to $185 with the booking fee inside the price.
