A two-day construction show in West and Central Halls

Marketplace Events runs the Tampa Build Expo at the Tampa Convention Center, 333 S Franklin St, on 20 and 21 January 2027. The organiser puts the show in the West and Central Halls. The city's event card lists the run from 7am on 20 January to 11:59pm on 21 January, marks the status as Scheduled, and answers Yes to Free/Open to the public. Registration is required. The card's When line is the listing's window and states no exhibit hour.

The organiser names the audience: contractors, developers, architects, engineers, building owners, property managers and other industry decision-makers. Its published figures put exhibitors at 170+ per show average, repeat attendance at 85 per cent of attendees and recommendation at 92 per cent.

The two published clocks

Exhibit hours run 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on both days. Classes start at 9:30 a.m. each day. The class page counts 45+ keynotes and classes and lists them free with the VIP all-access pass. Registration on the organiser site costs nothing.

Five hours on the floor. Half an hour of class before the doors. A delegate who works the show for one day and flies home the same evening plans around 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Day rooms priced 21 October 2026

Dayuse lists 13 Tampa properties with a day rate on 21 October 2026. Three of them sit in or beside Downtown.

Aloft Tampa Downtown, 100 W Kennedy Blvd, 0.6 miles from the venue on the convention centre's own list: $109 for the day plus a $7 booking fee, window 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Westin Tampa Waterside, 725 S Harbour Island Blvd, 0.3 miles: $129 plus a $9 booking fee, window 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, 905 N Florida Ave, listed by the venue as The Floridan Palace Hotel at one mile: $139 plus a $9 booking fee, window 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The card set changes between reads on the same day. Price the slot again on the day of booking.

The window that covers the close

No downtown card opens before 10:00 a.m. The 9:30 a.m. class start falls outside every downtown window.

Hotel Flor's 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. window runs two hours past the 3:00 p.m. close. The Aloft and Westin cards add one hour. A delegate with a 7:00 p.m. flight books the later window.

Parking, at the city's own rates

Front Drive at 333 S Franklin St holds 36 metered spaces at $4 an hour, Monday to Sunday 8:00 a.m. to midnight, with no overnight parking. The convention centre garage at 141 E Brorein St holds 454 spaces, 11 ADA spaces, two EV chargers and a 6 foot 6 inch height limit. Its non-event rate is $3 an hour with an $18 daily maximum. Its event rate runs $5.00 to $50.00.

A five-hour stay costs $20 at the meters and $15 at the garage non-event rate. Show days carry the event rate, and the city publishes that as a $5.00 to $50.00 band.

Slots, and the booking path

hotelslots.org defines four bookable bands: Morning 6AM-12PM, Afternoon 12PM-6PM, Evening 6PM-12AM and Overnight 12AM-6AM. Its glossary puts a day room at 6 to 8 hours. Each downtown card above publishes its own window, and every one starts at 10:00 a.m. or later. Two of the three end an hour after the floor closes, and Hotel Flor's window runs two hours past it.

The site sells the day room for layovers, remote work and short breaks, with pool, gym and lounge access at the property. The three cards above price a room across the show's daytime hours.

Tampa sits outside the platform's directory

hotelslots.org/directory/florida and /directory/tampa both return a 404. The platform's Top Destinations block names twelve cities and none of them is in Florida. The rates above come from the Dayuse Tampa page, read on 21 October 2026.

hotelslots.org cannot process requests from residents of or for travel to Florida, Hawaii, Iowa or Washington. The seller of travel page states the position, and the site's own FAQ names Florida among the states that restrict day-use bookings. A Tampa delegate books the day room with the property directly and takes the terms from this piece.
