A 7 a.m. gate and a 7:30 p.m. release

The Spirit Clash Cheerleading Competition runs at the Florida State Fairgrounds on Sunday, November 8. The fairgrounds calendar card prints 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. for the date, which is twelve and a half hours. The event data behind the page carries the same clock. The organiser named on the page is Spirit Championships.

Spectator admission reads $25. Children 3 and under are free. Parking reads $10 online and $12 onsite. The parking product covers November 8 only, allows one entry, and routes cars through the U.S. Hwy 301 entrance. The venue map places the Entertainment Hall at that same gate, U.S. Hwy 301 Entrance, Gate 1.

The hall carries 51,000 square feet and building-wide wifi

The Entertainment Hall measures 51,000 square feet of customizable space under 36-foot ceilings. The venue lists two downstairs dressing rooms, easy load-in and load-out, complimentary wifi throughout the building, and utilities accessible through the floor and wall. The same page lists pipe and drape for a consumer or trade show, plus a stage and portable bleachers for spectators. Combined with the adjacent Expo Hall the footprint reaches 138,000 square feet.

The fairgrounds FAQ adds the detail that matters to a parent answering mail from the hall: basic wifi is free, and enhanced access sells at login in one-day, two-day and three-to-five-day licences for two devices, with a universal licence for up to 30 devices.

The near-grounds cards open at 8 a.m.

The Dayuse Tampa listing carried 14 priced properties on October 21, 2026. Five post a window that opens at 8 a.m., the earliest start in the set, and all four near-grounds cards are among them.

Quality Inn & Suites Tampa near Fairgrounds and Casino posts 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at $65 plus a $6 fee. Quality Inn and Conference Center Tampa-Brandon posts 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at $60 plus $6. Clarion Pointe Tampa-Brandon Near Fairgrounds and Casino posts 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at $65 plus $6. Sleep Inn near Busch Gardens - USF posts 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at $95 plus $5.

A family at a 7 a.m. gate gives up the first hour of the room. The 8 a.m. window still covers the competition morning, and the 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. window covers the afternoon block. The 7:30 p.m. release falls thirty minutes past that last window.

Two cards close after the release

Le Meridien Tampa, The Courthouse posts 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at $129 plus a $9 fee from Downtown. Four Points by Sheraton Suites Tampa Airport Westshore posts 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. at $105 plus a $7 fee. Those two cover a family that stays to the 7:30 p.m. exit.

The page publishes no city average. Each card carries its own fee between $5 and $10, so read the base rate and the fee together before comparing two cards.

The organiser lists awards and no timetable

Spirit Championships lists the date as 11/8/2026 at the Florida State Fairgrounds on its fall events page. The same entry names Grand Champion t-shirts, athlete gifts, a trophy for every placement, Grand Champion awards and High Point awards. The site states that a team competes on a standard 54 by 42 foot flat cheer floor, and that Spirit Championships offers no refunds for withdrawal or no show.

The page prints no session grid, no door time and no division start list. A parent waiting between a team performance and an awards block has no published length for the wait. Book the room against the twelve and a half hour window on the fairgrounds card.

The registration side carries its own ladder. Spirit Championships advertises a Fall 2026 special of two competitions for $20 per participant, three for $30 and four for $40, with registration and payment received by 8/1/2026.

Three events share the gate

The Tampa Bay Fall RV Show runs at the fairgrounds November 5 to 8, with Sunday hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Midway. Repticon runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. that Sunday. Both sell parking through the U.S. Hwy 301 entrance, the gate the Entertainment Hall uses. Admission to the RV show is $5 for adults and free for children 16 and under, and its parking ladder reads $10 online and $12 onsite. The Gem, Mineral & Jewelry Show enters through MLK Blvd.

Three events on one gate on one date puts a queue at the U.S. 301 entrance through the morning. An arrival at 8:30 a.m. sits behind the RV show traffic. The parking product allows one entry, so a mid-day trip out of the lot costs a second pass.

Florida restricts day-use booking

hotelslots.org covers 46 states and 103,857 hotels. Its home page answers the state question in the FAQ block: a few states (FL, HI, IA, WA) restrict day-use bookings under state travel laws. The platform serves no Florida directory page, and both /directory/florida and /directory/tampa return HTTP 404.

The platform publishes one discount band on its home page, 30-75% less than nightly rates, and a $0 fee line for the platform itself. Every card in the Tampa set carries a booking fee between $5 and $10.

What the Sunday booking looks like

A parent who wants the building as a base books the 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. window at one of the near-grounds cards and pays $60 to $95 plus the fee. A parent who arrives for the afternoon block books the 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. window at $65 plus $6. A family that stays to the release books the Le Meridien window at $129 plus $9, or the 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. window at Four Points.

Confirm the window on the specific card on the morning of the event. The four slot bands on the platform run 6 a.m. to noon, noon to 6 p.m., 6 p.m. to midnight and midnight to 6 a.m., and the platform glossary describes a day-use room as six to eight hours.
