A four-day fair in the Festival Pavilion

The San Francisco Fall Show runs October 15 through 18, 2026 in the Festival Pavilion at Fort Mason Center for Arts and Culture, 2 Marina Boulevard, San Francisco, California 94109. The organizer calls it the leading international art, antiques and design fair on the West Coast. The fair was founded in 1982 and brings more than 40 dealers from around the world. It is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

The Opening Night Gala runs Wednesday, October 14 in the same pavilion, and the organizer names the 2026 theme Métallique Chic.

A floor open until seven

The floor opens at 10:30 a.m. and closes at 7:00 p.m. from Thursday, October 15 through Saturday, October 17. On Sunday, October 18 it runs 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The organizer states that tickets may be used for re-entry throughout Show Days.

The closing hour shapes the day for a dealer or buyer who needs a desk. The Afternoon day-use slot runs 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Evening slot runs 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. and covers the last hour of the floor. On Sunday the floor closes at 5:00 p.m., inside the Afternoon window.

Lectures at 11:00, 2:30 and 4:30

The lecture series runs three sessions on Thursday, October 15 and three on Friday, October 16, at 11:00 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday, October 17 runs at 11:00 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 18 runs at noon and 2:00 p.m. The organizer publishes no lecture length and no finishing time.

A Show ticket and a Lecture ticket are both required for a lecture. Book signings follow each session in the Authors' Alcove.

The gap between a 2:30 session and a 4:30 session

Thursday and Friday each leave a dealer or buyer with an unscheduled stretch between the 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. lectures, on a floor that trades until seven. The show's pages list no bookable meeting room and no workspace.

A day-use booking covers that stretch. The room buys a block of daytime hours, and hotelSlots sells four slots: Morning 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., Afternoon 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Evening 6 p.m. to 12 a.m., and Overnight 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. The platform lists 103,857-plus hotels across 46 states and names four states that restrict day-use bookings under state travel laws: Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington. California is not among them.

The platform posts its own price bands. The home page reads "30-75% off nightly rates." The day-use page reads "40-60% less than overnight" and lists pool, gym, Wi-Fi and shower access as included. The short-stay guide states that Wi-Fi, a desk, gym access, pool access and parking can vary by property. The same guide puts a four-hour afternoon window at a shower, a nap and a focused stretch of work, and reports that weekday afternoons and airport-area locations fill first.
