Salesforce Park's Daytime Hours Before the First Pour

Winter hours, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Salesforce Park sits on the roof of the Salesforce Transit Center at 425 Mission Street in SoMa. The Transbay Joint Powers Authority owns and operates the building and the park. It publishes two seasons of hours: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. from May 1 to October 31, and 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. from November 1 to April 30, marked subject to change.

A February visitor works inside the second window. The park opens at 6 a.m. every day of the week and closes at 8 p.m.

The day guides list their first stop at 11 a.m.

SF Beer Week runs ten days. The Guild's event record for the coming edition reads February 20 to March 1. The live site carries the 2026 edition: the home page reads "February 20 to March 1, 2026" and thanks attendees for SF Beer Week 2026, and a search for the string 2027 across its public pages returns no hit.

The published day guides carry one page per day, and each page's earliest entry reads as follows. 11 a.m. on Friday February 20. 9 a.m. on Saturday February 21 and Sunday February 22. 11:30 a.m. from Monday February 23 through Thursday February 26. 11 a.m. on Friday February 27 and Saturday February 28. 10 a.m. on Sunday March 1.

Those weekday labels hold on the 2026 calendar, where February 20 falls on a Friday. The record for the coming edition gives the same ten-day span with February 20 on a Saturday. The Guild has published no day guide for that edition, so the clocks above belong to the grid it has posted.

The quiet hours before the first pour run five hours on the opening day and three hours on the two days that start at 9 a.m. The FAQ states there is no single event ticket, that every listing carries its own pricing, and that many listings are pay as you go.

What the park gives a February visitor

The park covers 5.4 acres and runs a half-mile loop path around its perimeter. The authority counts 600 trees and 16,000 plants across 13 botanical feature areas, all of it seventy feet above the Grand Hall.

Free wi-fi runs on the "TransbayWiFi" network. Restrooms sit in the park and on the Level 3 Bus Deck. The Grand Hall opens daily at 5 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m., so an early arrival has shelter below the park before the rooftop gate opens.

The park's own rules matter for a work session. The Transit Center stores no luggage and provides no parking. Embarcadero and Montgomery stations sit one block north on Market Street, and the main park entrance runs through Salesforce Plaza at 425 Mission Street at Fremont Street, served by five sets of elevators and one escalator. Prepared food and non-alcoholic beverages may come in. Chairs may not. Alcohol is barred outside a cafe or restaurant on the premises, and pets are barred apart from service animals.

The Fest uses the same roof

SFBW Fest ran at Salesforce Park on Saturday February 21 in the published edition. The Guild produces it with Barebottle Brewing as host. A ticket covers unlimited tastings, live entertainment and a reusable commemorative tasting glass, and the park stays open to all ages with no ticket needed for the free live entertainment. Drinkers need a ticket and must be 21 or older. The event runs rain or shine and moves indoors at the same venue if the weather turns.

Day rooms within half a mile

hotelSlots sells daytime slots. Its home page lists 103,857+ hotels across 46 states and four slots: Morning 6 a.m. to noon, Afternoon noon to 6 p.m., Evening 6 p.m. to midnight, and Overnight midnight to 6 a.m. The platform states that slots combine for full-day coverage, that a day-use room typically runs 6 to 8 hours, and that day-use rates run 30-75% less than the nightly rate at the same hotel. Its rate article puts a day slot at roughly 40% to 60% of the nightly figure and lists pool, gym, wi-fi and shower access as included. Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington restrict day-use booking under state travel laws. California does not.

The platform directory lists 562 San Francisco properties. Five carry the Transit Center's 94105 ZIP: 1 Hotel San Francisco at 8 Mission Street, Harbor Court Hotel at 165 Steuart Street, Hotel Griffon at 155 Steuart Street, the Palace Hotel at 2 New Montgomery Street, and The Clancy at 299 2nd Street. Straight-line distances from 425 Mission Street put The Clancy 0.15 miles out, the Palace Hotel 0.19 miles, The St. Regis 0.20 miles, W San Francisco 0.20 miles and the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA 0.27 miles. The Mosser Hotel and Hotel Zelos both sit 0.42 miles out, in the 94103 ZIP.

Eight San Francisco day rates read October 15, 2026 on the city's day-use listing: The Mosser Hotel $91, Hotel Caza Fisherman's Wharf $107, the Hilton San Francisco Financial District $116, Axiom Hotel San Francisco $122, Hotel Zeppelin San Francisco $138, Hotel Zelos San Francisco $144, Hotel Zetta San Francisco $152 and Taj Campton Place $159. The listing's own body reads an average of $119.61 for a day room in the city. Those eight cards average $128.63. Windows move by property on the same read, from one 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. band at the Hilton to five windows at Hotel Zelos.

What stays unposted

The Guild has published no 2027 activity list, Fest date or day guide. A February day room holds a rate and a window that both move between reads, so recheck the property page on the day of booking.
