The Show Clock

The Performance Racing Industry Show runs December 10 to 12, 2026 at the Indiana Convention Center, 100 South Capitol Avenue in Indianapolis. Attendee doors open at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 10 and Friday, December 11, and the floor closes at 5:00 p.m. both days. Saturday, December 12 closes at 4:00 p.m.

Exhibitors reach the floor earlier: 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. Thursday and 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Move-in runs Sunday, December 6 through Wednesday, December 9, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Move-out begins at 4:00 p.m. Saturday and runs to midnight, resumes Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and ends Monday 8:00 a.m. to noon for outbound carrier pick-up, with the carrier checked in by 10:00 a.m.

The organiser publishes 40,000+ motorsports professionals and 1,000+ exhibitors across the three days, and one of its pages puts the exhibitor count at 1,100. The show is a trade-only event for qualified motorsports professionals.

What a Day Costs

Badge pricing runs in three bands. Registration from July 21 to October 2, 2026 cost $45. From October 3 to December 9 the badge is $55. On show days, December 10 to 12, it is $65. The organiser dropped the membership requirement for 2026, so a qualified individual registers directly.

The show office answers at 317.262.5904 during the run, and the general address is mail@performanceracing.com.

A Room for One Day

An attendee who drives in for the Thursday floor and drives home that evening holds a badge for eight hours of show time and no bed. hotelSlots publishes 103,857+ properties across 46 states with day-use availability and prints its day-use rates at 40-60% below overnight prices on its day-use page.

A day-use booking covers a named block. The platform offers four: morning 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., afternoon 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., evening 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and overnight 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Against the show clock, the afternoon block covers the floor day from noon to the 5:00 p.m. close. The evening block covers the hours after the close for a shower before the drive. A full-day slot suits an attendee who wants a base from morning until evening.

The remote-work page describes the room as a quiet space with business-grade internet, a desk and ergonomic seating, privacy for calls, and gym, coffee and restaurant breaks between calls. The short-stay guide names a four-hour afternoon window as enough time for a shower, a nap and a stretch of work.

What the Room Costs

Dayuse publishes an average day-room price of $87.43 for Indianapolis and advertises up to 75% off an overnight stay, with free cancellation until the last minute, payment at the hotel and no prepayment. Engine puts the Indianapolis average nightly rate at $128 across 1.2M public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. December reads $112, twelve percent below the city average, and the May peak reads $158. Engine labels these par rates.

hotelSlots states on its day-use page that pool, gym, Wi-Fi and shower access are included, and its short-stay guide states that Wi-Fi, a desk, gym access, pool access and parking can all vary by property. Confirm the inclusions on the listing before booking.

Downtown Inventory

The hotelSlots Indianapolis directory prints 273 hotels available in its heading, and one body line on the same page prints 123. The directory lists properties alphabetically, 24 to a page, with each card carrying a street address and a star rating. Its nearby-destination panel counts Speedway at 4 hotels, Fishers at 14, Carmel at 5 and Zionsville at 2.

The Indiana Convention Center publishes that more than half of downtown's 7,100 hotel rooms sit within blocks of the center and Lucas Oil Stadium, and that 4,700 rooms connect to the center by skywalk. Its own figures put 200 downtown restaurants within walking distance and the airport 15 minutes out. The venue states that the closing and opening time for the facility and skywalks is event-dependent, with a rule of thumb of approximately 11:00 p.m. for evening lockdown and approximately 6:00 a.m. for reopening.

Booking Notes

PRI runs a complimentary shuttle service to and from the Indiana Convention Center and publishes a shuttle schedule. Visit Indy Housing handles hotel services for the show at prihousing@visitindy.com or 317.262.8191. The show schedule states that after November 14, 2026 all reservation changes go through the hotel directly. Indy Scooter Rentals covers mobility needs on the floor.

The platform notes that day-use inventory is limited by design, that the best slots at the best properties fill first, and that weekday afternoons and airport-area locations go first. No Indiana restriction on day-use bookings is published. The seller-of-travel page states that the company cannot process booking requests from residents of or for travel to Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington, and that the restriction applies across all of its brands.
