One ticket, three days, two Sunday finals

The Portland Golf Show runs March 5 to 7, 2027 in Hall D at the Portland Expo Center, 2060 N. Marine Drive. One ticket covers all three days. The ticket block prints its condition: three-day access, stamp required.

Friday runs 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday holds six hours, the shortest of the three days.

The Sunday clock

The Shootout final starts at 1 p.m. Sunday. The organiser describes it as a closest-to-the-pin challenge at the Corona Premier 19th hole, played in a Dryvebox simulator set to the seventh hole. Each entrant takes five swings, and the top five from each day return for that final.

The Portland Kia Putting Challenge feeds a second final. Every successful putt wins a round of golf and an entry into the Sunday Putting Championship. The Main Stage grid lists the championship at 2:30 p.m. That grid is headed 2026.

A 10 a.m. arrival gives three hours on the floor before the Shootout, ninety minutes between the two finals, and ninety minutes after the championship before the 4 p.m. close.

What the ticket costs

The show prints $17.50 for adults, $16.50 for seniors 60 and over, $16.50 for active duty military, police and firefighters, and free for children 12 and under. It states that prices exclude taxes and venue ticketing fees.

The Expo Center card for the same show prints $21.50 for general admission 13 and over, $20.50 for seniors, $19.00 for military and first responders, and free for children 12 and under, with prices including service charges. It prices the Players Tour Pass at $69.00 against the show's $59.99 plus taxes and fees.

The Expo card dates the show March 6 to 8 and prints no year. The organiser prints March 5 to 7, 2027, and March 5, 2027 is a Friday. Take the organiser's dates.

The floor

Redtail Golf Center runs an equipment testing and fitting zone on a free on-site driving range, with a 4,000 square foot retail store beside it. Parwest runs a 2,500 square foot super store. The Ace awards a PXG driver to the first hole in one. Short Game Central pays prizes for chipping. MGI runs a motorized cart test drive. Synlawn lays a synthetic putting green on the floor. The Orange Whip area runs swing training. Nine spirits sampling zones serve guests 21 and over.

Getting there without a car

The venue names the line. TriMet's MAX Yellow Line stops at the Expo Center station, a short walk from the entrance. Bike racks sit next to the MAX stop and outside Halls D and E.

Parking runs $15 per car per entry, and the venue notes that prices may vary with demand at special events. The lot takes cash and major credit cards. Parking can be bought in advance.

The day room that fits the Sunday

One priced card sits inside a mile of the Expo pin. The Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Portland Jantzen Beach carries a $96 day rate against a $130 comparison rate, a $6 booking fee, and three windows: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. It measures 0.61 miles from the Expo Center at 2060 N. Marine Drive.

The 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. window covers the whole Sunday: the 10 a.m. open, the 1 p.m. Shootout, the 2:30 p.m. championship, and an hour after the 4 p.m. close.

Two more priced cards carry a Sunday window, both east at Cascade Station. Hyatt Place Portland Airport Cascade Station carries $111 against $229 with a $7 fee and two windows, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Residence Inn Portland Airport at Cascade Station carries $106 against $220 with a $7 fee and one window, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. They measure 6.5 and 6.26 miles from the Expo pin.

The Hyatt's first window ends at 3:30 p.m., half an hour before the floor closes. The Residence Inn window ends at 4 p.m., at the close.

Day-use rates and windows turn over between reads. Check the card on the day you book.

Saturday, if the afternoon is free

Children 12 and under enter free on both price lists. Women's Day runs Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with its own stage, and the show sells a $10 ticket for that Saturday at the box office only, against the $17.50 adult rate online.

The order to work in

Buy the ticket online. The front door bonuses attach to online orders, and the show ties a PXG driver and MGI power trolley draw to that purchase. Ride the Yellow Line when the finals are the reason for the trip. Book the day room on a window that ends at or after 4 p.m. Show the stamp at the door on each of the three days.
