Five days, and Sunday is the shortest
The Portland Boat Show opens at the Portland Expo Center on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2027 and closes on Sunday, Jan. 17. The Expo Center event card places the show in Halls C, D and E. The venue card and the promoter publish the same hours.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday run 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday runs 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday holds eight hours. Saturday holds ten. Each weekday holds ten.
One price, and children walk in free
The show information page on pdxboatshow.com lists General Admission at $20. Children 12 and under enter free. The page adds that fees may apply.
The Expo Center card still reads Admissions: To be announced for the 2027 dates. The $20 figure comes from the promoter.
The promoter FAQ offers a downloadable 2-for-1 coupon and calls it $20 off. Two adults who bring it pay for one ticket.
The show information page publishes one admission line and no multi-day pass. The price ladder is $20 for an adult and nothing for a child.
Parking costs $15, and the free window skips Sunday
The promoter FAQ puts parking at $15 per space with no in or out privileges. The Expo Center parking page puts parking at $15 per car per entry, states that prices may vary with demand, and adds that the lots take cash and major credit cards.
The FAQ adds a discount that matters to a family. Parking is free after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of the show. The page repeats the qualifier in capitals: those three days only.
Sunday carries no discount at any hour. A Sunday visitor pays $15 on arrival and parks until the 6 p.m. close.
Halls C, D and E, and the MAX stop outside
The Expo Center sits at 2025 North Expo Road, Portland, Oregon 97217. The venue phone is 503-736-5200.
The show information page tells drivers to take the MAX Yellow Line. The Expo Center parking page names the stop, Expo Center station, and lists bike racks next to the station and outside Halls D and E.
Levy runs the food. Truss & Table in Hall D1 serves sandwiches, hot dogs, pretzels, fries, beer and wine. Ironworks Kitchen in Hall E1 serves pizza. Foundry Market in D2 and Green Heron Market in E2 cover a grab-and-go lunch. The venue states that outside food and beverages are not allowed, that the Hall D and E food locations are undergoing renovations on a schedule running through 2026, and that food hours vary by event schedule.
The promoter FAQ allows licensed service dogs only. The venue accessibility page lists four complimentary manual wheelchairs on a first-come basis, collected at the Med Tech office in the Hall D or Hall E lobby.
The room between the hall and a late flight
Portland International Airport sits 9.5 driving miles from the Expo Center, an OSRM routing estimate of about 21 minutes. Two Cascade Station hotels sit inside three miles of the terminal.
Dayuse lists Hyatt Place Portland Airport/Cascade Station at $111 against a $229 nightly comparison, a 52 percent reduction. Residence Inn by Marriott Portland Airport at Cascade Station lists $106 against $220, a 52 percent reduction. Both appear in the hotelSlots Portland directory, at 9750 NE Cascades Parkway and 9301 NE Cascades Parkway.
The Hyatt Place windows read 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Residence Inn window reads 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Neither reaches a 6 p.m. close. The pair sits 8.9 and 8.6 driving miles from the halls.
The Jantzen Beach block runs to 11 p.m.
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Portland - Jantzen Beach sits 2.6 driving miles from the Expo Center, about six minutes. Dayuse lists it at $96 against a $130 nightly comparison, a 27 percent reduction.
Its windows read 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. The evening block runs past a Sunday that closes at 6 p.m. and a flight that leaves late.
The airport run changes with the property. Jantzen Beach sits 9.9 driving miles from the terminal, about 23 minutes. The Cascade Station pair sits 2.6 and 2.5 driving miles from the same terminal.
The directory carries two records for the property. One reads 2300 North Hayden Island Drive. The other reads 2300 North Haden Island Drive. Nominatim and the Dayuse card spell the street Hayden.
Book the gate, then the room
Sunday suits a household with children. Two adults pay $40, or $20 with the 2-for-1 coupon, and every child 12 and under enters free. Admission is charged per adult, so the room carries the fixed cost. Parking adds $15, because the free window runs Wednesday to Friday.
hotelSlots states that day rates typically run 30 to 75 percent below the nightly rate at the same property, that it sells a day as four slots beginning at 6 a.m., 12 p.m., 6 p.m. and 12 a.m., and that it charges no booking fees with payment made to the hotel.
The 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. block at Jantzen Beach runs past a 6 p.m. close. Book it against the Sunday, and leave the airport run for the same evening.
