PlantCon Dallas: a day room for a 6 p.m. close and a Love Field run

PlantCon Dallas prints one clock for both of its hall days. Saturday, October 24 opens at 10:00 AM and closes at 6:00 PM. Sunday, October 25 repeats both hours. The event takes Exhibit Hall C at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas, 650 S Griffin Street, and fills it with a 200-booth plant market, seminars and workshops from field experts, and exhibitions from plant-world brands.

Three passes enter before the general public, and each one changes what a room is worth.

Three entry clocks and what each costs

General admission enters at 10am. The GA 2-Day Pass costs $49 plus tax and admits both days, permits re-entry, includes a convention t-shirt while supplies last, and opens workshop sign-up online one week before the event. The organiser states the price rises to $55 plus tax on the event weekend.

Sunday Discount Day costs $39 plus tax for Sunday only, at 10am, and rises to $45 plus tax on the event weekend. That pass carries no re-entry. A $23.50 plus tax Appreciation Pass goes to first responders, seniors, teachers and military at the Sunday box office.

Early Entry costs $84 plus tax and admits at 9am, an hour ahead of the public, with the Opening Reception for guests 21 and over. VIP costs $249 plus tax and admits at 8am on both days, two hours ahead. Industry costs $495 plus tax at the same 8am hour, and its listing describes networking with over 300 local and international exhibitors. A Children Pass costs $5 for one day and must be bought with an adult ticket. Three or more tickets take $5 off each.

The locker is priced by the square foot

Storage prices in before the first seminar. The VIP listing reads: complimentary Plant Locker access, a secure and monitored private area to drop off plants for storage. For other guests, it is $10 per sq. ft.

That rate prices floor area. A four-square-foot space costs $40. A six-square-foot space costs $60. Two days at a 200-booth market send buyers home with plants that need a floor while the workshops run.

Set the locker beside the ticket. GA 2-Day at $49 plus tax and a four-square-foot locker at $40 comes to $89 before tax. The VIP pass at $249 plus tax covers both days at 8am, the locker, a $25 workshop credit, workshop sign-up three weeks early against the 2-Day holder's one week, and reserved front rows at presentations on a first-come basis.

A 6 p.m. close against an evening flight

Love Field sits seven miles from the convention centre. The venue's getting-here page prints that figure and puts DFW at about 30 minutes.

Wi-Fi is free in all common areas and meeting rooms on the network named Free Internet. The building is cashless, with ATMs at Level 2 A Lobby and Level 2 C Lobby. Concessions run through Sodexo Live, and their options and hours vary by event. The facility carries no on-site business center, and the amenities page routes guests to a UPS Business Center at the adjacent Omni Dallas Hotel.

The Dallas day-room set, priced

hotelSlots sells four slots: morning 6am to noon, afternoon noon to 6pm, evening 6pm to midnight, overnight midnight to 6am. Dayuse's Dallas city page listed 29 properties on 22 October 2026. Their day rates ran $55 to $249 before booking fees, and $61 to $259 with the fees included.

The nearest card is the Hyatt Regency Dallas at 300 Reunion Boulevard East, 0.45 straight-line miles from the hall. It sells one window, 9am to 5pm, at $150 plus a $10 fee. Hotel Crescent Court at 400 Crescent Court, 1.35 miles out, sells the same 9-to-5 at $220 plus a $10 fee. Both close an hour before PlantCon does.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Dallas Downtown at Baylor Scott & White, 1.56 miles out at 3301 Gaston Avenue, carries three windows at $95 plus a $7 fee: 8am to 3pm, 10am to 5pm, and 5pm to 11pm. The 5pm window starts an hour before the close and runs five hours past it.

Comfort Inn & Suites Dallas Medical-Market Center at 1521 Inwood Road, 3.74 miles out, sells 8am to 4pm, 10am to 6pm and noon to 8pm at $65 plus a $6 fee. The noon window covers the afternoon of the hall day and two hours past the close. Sleep Inn Dallas Love Field-Medical District at 1165 Empire Central Place, 5.47 miles out, sells 6am to 2pm, 8am to 4pm, 10am to 6pm, 10am to 7pm and 6pm to 11pm at $74 plus a $6 fee. Choosing the window

For a guest buying plants, the locker rate sits on top of the ticket: $10 per square foot of storage plus $49 plus tax for the weekend. The VIP pass and the Industry pass are the two 8am routes.

For the room, the closing hour decides the booking. The Comfort Inn noon-to-8pm window at $65 plus a $6 fee covers the close, and the Home2 5pm-to-11pm window at $95 plus a $7 fee begins while the hall is still open.
