Three days in Hall C

Westside Academy runs the PDX Invitational in Hall C at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Portland, Oregon 97232, from Friday 22 January to Sunday 24 January 2027. The venue card marks the meet Registration Required. Registration runs through USA Gymnastics.

Final payment falls due 1 November 2026. A $15 late fee attaches to each athlete registration after that date, refund requests close 1 December, and level changes close 15 December. The organiser takes cash, check or an electronic funds transfer, and no card.

The gap a three-day meet opens

Levels rotate across the three days. Neither the venue card nor the club page prints a session clock, so a parent with a morning level and an afternoon level holds the middle of the day inside one building.

What the building gives the wait

Wi-Fi runs free in all lobbies and meeting rooms. Basic service costs $12 a day and Business Class $50 a day. Both take a credit card, and customer support sits on site.

LocketGo runs three locker banks: the MLK Lobby near the main entrance, the Holladay Lobby at the north end, and the Ginkoberry Concourse at the south end. The lockers are salmon coloured and take a reservation through a mobile device and a credit card. The venue page prints no locker rate, so the reservation screen sets the price.

Portland Coffee Roasters II on the South Ginkoberry Concourse serves coffee, espresso and pastries. Its posted hours on Monday 19 October 2026 ran 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. A second outlet serves Pre-Function C. Spire Kitchen in Exhibit Hall C serves bento bowls and pizza, and Stir Bistro and Lounge sits in the MLK Lobby. No cafe hour for 22 to 24 January is published, so treat a posted hour as the shape and confirm the January clock nearer the meet.

The building runs cashless. Five ATMs stand at the Pre-Function A, B, C and E lobbies and on the South Ginkoberry Concourse. A reverse ATM left of the MLK welcome desk swaps cash for a Visa card in one load at no fee.

A day room covers the middle

The hotelSlots Portland directory lists 278 hotels taking day-use requests. Its help page publishes three slot types: a 3-hour slot, a 6-hour slot, and a full-day slot of typically 8 AM to 6 PM. The same page puts day-use rates at 40 to 60 percent below overnight rates. Submitting a request costs nothing and the platform adds no markup.

Distances below are the walking route from 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Four directory properties sit inside half a mile.

Hyatt Regency Portland — 375 NE Holladay St, 97232. 0.25 miles.

Inn at the Convention Center — 420 NE Holladay St, 97232. 0.33 miles.

Motel 6 — 518 NE Holladay St, 97232. 0.39 miles.

Courtyard by Marriott Portland Downtown/Convention Center — 435 NE Wasco St, 97232. 0.47 miles.

A 6-hour slot covers a midday wait with a shower, a desk and a door that closes. A parent who holds the same wait on three days books the same slot three times.

The garage and the ride in

The garage holds 800 spaces and opens at 6:00 AM. Standard entry costs $15 for up to 18 hours with no in-and-out privilege, and event entry takes a dynamic $15 to $25. Overnight parking is prohibited.

MAX stops 300 times a day at the front door. The Streetcar A Loop arrives at NE MLK and Hoyt every 15 minutes, and bus line 6 stops at NE MLK and Holladay.

The order of the year

1 November 2026 sets the entry price. 1 December closes the refund window. 15 December closes level changes. 22 January opens the hall. Day rates and locker prices move between reads, so confirm both against the session clock nearer the meet.
