One badge day at PASIC 2026

PASIC runs November 11 through November 14, 2026 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. The venue lists a forecast attendance of 5,200. The Percussive Arts Society covers all areas of percussion at the convention: drumset, marching, keyboard, symphonic, world, recreational, education, music technology, new music and health and wellness.

A four-day badge covers Wednesday, November 11 through Saturday, November 14. A one-day badge covers one day of your choice from Thursday, November 12 through Saturday, November 14.

Badge prices and the October 29 deadline

Online registration closes October 29. The one-day badge costs $85 for student members, $110 for members and $175 for non-members. On-site registration carries no discount: $150 for students and $175 for non-students on a one-day badge.

Two lighter options exist. A Combo Ticket costs $50 and covers two single sessions plus an Expo Hall wristband. An Expo Hall Wristband costs $25 and admits the holder to the International Drum & Percussion Expo Hall on the day selected. The wristband does not admit the holder to PASIC sessions. A Thursday or Friday wristband also admits the holder to the Concert Chamber Competitions. Wristbands go on sale October 1.

Refunds run through October 29 and carry a $50 cancellation fee. The PAS office takes cancellations at 317-974-4488.

The hours one badge day covers

The organiser publishes the schedule and the venue publishes the building hours. The expo hall opens at 9:00 AM and closes at 5:00 PM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Registration runs 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Friday and Saturday.

Thursday sessions start at 9:00 AM and run through a 5:00 PM block. The Ju Percussion Group 40th Anniversary Celebration plays the Mainstage at 8:00 PM. Friday starts earlier. The Deep Listening Gong & Sound Bath clinic runs at 7:00 AM in Room 209. Friday day sessions close at 5:00 PM, the Michael Burritt & Burritt Percussion Group concert starts at 8:00 PM, and an Evening Interactive Pad Session runs at 10:00 PM in Room 201. Saturday sessions run from 9:00 AM to a 4:00 PM block, and the Sheila E. concert starts at 6:00 PM on the Mainstage.

A Thursday badge covers 9:00 AM through an 8:00 PM concert. That is an eleven-hour day downtown. A Friday badge covers a 7:00 AM clinic through a 10:00 PM workshop.

Which day-use window fits which badge day

hotelSlots books day-use rooms in four windows: Morning 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Afternoon 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Evening 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and Overnight 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM. A guest pays for the hours inside the window and can combine windows for longer coverage.

The Morning window covers the 7:00 AM Friday clinic, a shower and the 9:00 AM expo hall opening. The Afternoon window covers the Thursday 12:30 PM Mid-Day Movement workshop, the 2:00 PM Sleep for Optimal Performance clinic and the room through the 5:00 PM block. The Evening window covers the 8:00 PM Thursday concert, the 10:00 PM Friday pad session and the 6:00 PM Saturday concert.

The day-use page lists pool, gym, Wi-Fi and shower access with the room. The remote-work page adds a desk, ergonomic seating and business-grade internet.

What a day room costs against a night downtown

Engine publishes an average nightly rate of $128 for Indianapolis across 1.2 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. November reads $122 and February reads $107, the cheapest month in the same table.

hotelSlots publishes its own bands. The home page reads "Up to 75% Off Nightly Rates" and its step copy reads "30-75% less than nightly rates". The day-use page reads "40-60% less than overnight". The platform's day-rate guide describes a day slot at "roughly 40% to 60% of" the nightly figure.

The Indianapolis directory lists 273 hotels. Aloft at 136 East Market Street appears there as a three-star property.

Driving in and parking

The convention center sits at 100 South Capitol Ave. Its parking page states that downtown Indianapolis holds more than 70,000 parking spaces, and that Denison Parking operates all Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium lots.

The venue lists 7,100 hotel rooms downtown, 4,700 rooms connected to the Convention Center by skywalk, 200 restaurants within walking distance and a 15-minute drive to Indianapolis International Airport.

The platform's seller-of-travel page lists Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington as states it cannot process requests from or for. Indiana does not appear on that list.

Confirm gym access, pool hours and check-in times with the property before booking. PASIC schedule times are published in Eastern time and are subject to change.
