One Day Pass, Two Clocks: Oregon Wine Symposium 2027

The Oregon Wine Symposium 2027 runs February 2 and 3 in Halls D-E at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. The venue card puts the room at more than 1,200 growers, winemakers and wine business leaders across two days. Registration opens in November 2026. The organiser lists single day passes among its registration options and publishes no price for any tier yet.

What a single day buys

The organiser names four registration routes: single day passes, discounts for groups of four or more, educator and student tickets, and Spanish language interpretation. The lunch keynote sits inside the day, so a pass covering one day carries the sessions and the meal.

The venue card states 2027 registration opens Fall 2026. The organiser states November 2026.

The 2026 clock, and the trade show inside it

The 2026 program page prints Tuesday educational programming from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the trade show from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The trade show window sits inside the education window, so one day pass covers both and every trade show hour competes with a session hour.

Wednesday reads 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for educational programming and 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. for the trade show. The 2027 grid is unposted: the organiser marks the page Program Coming Soon and the venue card carries no hours at all. The organiser labels the 2026 clock tentative and subject to change.

The room block and the walk times

Hotel Eastlund carries the symposium room block at $159 a night plus tax, with $30 a night parking and complimentary WiFi. The block closes Monday, January 11, 2027, and the rates run three days either side of the event.

The organiser lists five further properties with its own walk figures: Hyatt Regency Portland at 4 minutes and one block, Courtyard by Marriott Portland Downtown/Convention Center at 6 minutes and four blocks, KEX Portland at 8 minutes and four blocks, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Portland at 10 minutes and half a mile, and Jupiter NEXT at 16 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car over 0.7 miles.

A day room against an 8:30 start

A Dayuse read of Portland on 19 October 2026 returned 19 priced cards, ten of them inside 1.33 straight-line miles of the convention center doors. Four cards open at 8 a.m.: Hotel Lucia at $118 against a $219 comparison, Kimpton Hotel Vintage at $135 against $230, The Nines at $159 against $450, and Hyatt Centric Downtown at $106 against $200.

The nearest card is Jupiter Original at $89, 0.49 miles out, with windows at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Royal Sonesta Portland Downtown reads $107 against $170 at 0.90 miles, with a 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. window that covers a full conference day.

Jupiter NEXT carries a $123 card for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is the only property on the organiser's nearby list with a published day rate.

The cards carry a per-property booking fee between $5 and $10, listed separately from the day rate. Read the fee line on the property you pick. An 8:30 a.m. start rules out every card whose first window opens at 9 a.m. or later.

Two meetings in the building

The venue February calendar lists Oregon Wine Board 2027 in Portland Ballroom 251 across the same February 2 to 3 window, with the symposium in Halls D-E. Two programmes share the day, and the lobby carries both crowds.

Parking, transit and the building

The organiser prints Oregon Convention Center parking at $15 a day and asks delegates to pay before leaving the event to ease morning entry traffic. The venue prints 800 garage spaces at $15 for up to 18 hours, with a dynamic $15 to $25 at event entry, a 6 AM opening and cashless drive-through booths. MAX light rail stops 300 times a day near the front door and the venue sits eight miles from PDX. Wi-Fi is complimentary in all lobbies and meeting rooms, with Basic service at $12 a day and Business Class at $50 a day, and LocketGo lockers sit in three lobbies.

Dates that decide the booking

Registration opens in November 2026. The Hotel Eastlund block closes January 11, 2027. The program page reads Program Coming Soon, so no 2027 session time or room assignment is posted. Every clock above comes from the 2026 grid.
