The Washington Ballet performs The Nutcracker at the Warner Theatre from Saturday 28 November to Sunday 27 December 2026. The house sits at 513 13th Street NW. The company lists the running time at approximately two hours, and a matinee leaves the rest of the day open.
Nine matinees and where they sit
Nine performances begin at 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. The 2 p.m. curtain falls on Saturdays: 5, 12, 19 and 26 December. The 1 p.m. curtain falls on Sundays: 29 November and 6, 13, 20 and 27 December.
Most remaining performances start at 7 p.m. Sunday evenings start at 6 p.m., and Wednesday 23 December starts at 6 p.m. Thursday 24 December carries two performances, at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Christmas Day carries none.
A weekday daytime block inside the run comes down to one performance: 11 a.m. on Thursday 24 December.
The morning window
hotelSlots sells four slots: Morning 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., Afternoon 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Evening 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. and Overnight 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. A 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. matinee fits behind the Morning slot. A 7 p.m. curtain fits in front of the Afternoon slot.
Individual properties also sell their own windows. Dayuse's Washington page carried 38 day-use cards on 23 October 2026, at day rates from $85 to $239. Six of those cards carry a window that closes at 1 p.m. or 2 p.m., and all six sit within two-thirds of a mile of the theatre.

The group terms behind the seats
Group pricing opens at 10 seats. Parties of 10 to 15 receive 10 percent, parties of 15 to 20 receive 15 percent, and parties of 20 receive 20 percent. A 15 percent non-refundable deposit holds the seats, the balance falls due two weeks before the performance, and orders of 15 or more collect at Will Call.
A Sunday matinee Level 5 seat lists at $61 before the discount. Ten of those seats come to $610, or $549 at the 10 percent band.
The bill for the afternoon
hotelSlots publishes day-use rates as typically 30 to 75 percent below the nightly rate at the same hotel, with $0 in fees. Its day-use page states 40 to 60 percent below overnight. The Grand Hyatt's $149 window sits against a $429 nightly rate on the same card, and the Fairfield's $89 against $170.
Run the arithmetic on one window and ten seats. An $89 morning window and ten $61 matinee seats come to $699 for a group of ten, before the discount.
What the platform publishes about the room
The day-use page states that pool, gym, Wi-Fi and shower access are included. hotelSlots also states that its booking requests cannot be processed from residents of, or for travel to, Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington. The District is not among the four.
