One Day on the Floor for $75
The National Principals Conference runs 6 to 9 February 2027 at the Tampa Convention Center, 333 South Franklin Street. The City of Tampa calendar books the building from 6 a.m. on Sunday 7 February to midnight on Tuesday 9 February, and covers the entire convention centre.
The conference FAQ answers the guest question with a price. Exhibit Hall daily passes cost $75 per day. Sessions sit behind registration.
The city card carries two lines side by side. It marks the booking as private and open to registered attendees only, and it answers the free-entry question with a yes. The registration gate governs the door.
What Registration Costs
Standard registration reads $949 in the regular band, which opened 1 October 2026 and closes 5 February 2027. Onsite registration reads $1,399. The early-bird price was $699 and closed on 1 October 2026. Student registration reads $475 in all three bands.
Pre-conference sessions add $200 each. The two ticketed luncheons add $125 each.
Registration includes conference materials, general sessions, concurrent sessions, exhibit hall access and one lunch voucher for Sunday or Monday.
Monday Holds Two Session Blocks
Monday 8 February runs registration and information from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The general session runs 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Exhibit hall hours run 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Concurrent sessions run 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., then 2:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Networking lunch runs in the exhibit hall from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., and a ticketed luncheon with Merlyna Valentine runs across the same window.
The exhibit hall closes at 2 p.m. while concurrent sessions run to 4:30 p.m. A $75 pass holder works the floor from 9:30 a.m. and finishes at 2 p.m., with two and a half hours of sessions still to run.
The Venue Publishes Its Wi-Fi Terms
The facility page reads: "Free Wi-Fi is available in all public areas and meeting rooms of the Tampa Convention Center, and outside at The Sail Plaza." The same page states that exhibitor internet in the exhibit halls runs through a vendor for a daily fee.
The building holds 600,000 square feet across four floors, with a published guest capacity of 17,000 and an airport run the venue times at 16 minutes.
WaterView Lounge sits on the second floor beside East Registration and West Registration, next to an outdoor escalator landing with tables and chairs and beside the skywalk to the Embassy Suites. The page publishes no seat count, no hours, no outlets and no booking process.
Four Tampa Day Rates, Read on 21 October 2026
The Tampa day-use page carries fourteen cards. Four of them sit within a mile of the hall.
Aloft Tampa Downtown asks $109 plus a $7 booking fee, which totals $116, and runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Its nightly rate on the same card reads $250, and the venue list puts the hotel 0.6 miles out.
The Westin Tampa Waterside asks $129 plus a $9 fee, totals $138, and runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Its nightly rate reads $330, and the venue list puts it 0.3 miles out.
Le Meridien Tampa, The Courthouse asks $129 plus a $9 fee, totals $138, and runs 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Its nightly rate reads $305, and the venue list puts it 0.7 miles out.
Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown asks $139 plus a $9 fee, totals $148, and runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Its nightly rate reads $240. The venue list carries a Floridan Palace Hotel entry at 905 N. Florida Avenue, 1 mile out.
The 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. window at Le Meridien is the only one that reaches past a 4:30 p.m. session close.
Florida Sits Outside the Platform
hotelslots.org publishes a seller-of-travel notice dated 21 October 2026. The notice states that booking requests from residents of or for travel to Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington cannot be processed. It names the restriction across grouprooms.org, hotelhaggle.org, hotelslots.org, bookmyteam.org and partners.hotelhuddle.com.
A Tampa day room therefore goes to the property. Ask for the rate and the window in writing, and compare the total against the nightly rate printed on the same card.
The Order to Price This In
Decide the pass first. A $75 pass on Monday covers 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. A full registration covers the hall and the sessions to 4:30 p.m.
Then decide the room. Aloft and the Westin cover the morning and the first block. Le Meridien covers the afternoon. No card opens before 10 a.m.
