Entertainment Hall holds the Showcase of Champions Cheer Competition on Sunday, December 6, 2026. The venue event record gives 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern, and the event page prints the day as All Day. That is nine hours inside one building.
The hall and the gate
Entertainment Hall carries 51,000 square feet of customizable space and complimentary wifi throughout the building. It joins the adjacent Expo Hall for a combined 138,000 square feet. The venue gate table puts the hall at the US Hwy 301 Entrance, Gate 1.
Spectators pay $25. Children 3 and under enter free. The event page prints parking at $10 online and $12 onsite.
The parking portal sells the day as Showcase of Champions - Parking Only, dated December 6, 2026, one time entry only, through the Hwy 301 entrance, at $10.00.
What nine hours means for a day room
hotelSlots defines a day-use room as a hotel room booked for daytime hours, typically six to eight hours, without an overnight stay. It sells four slots: Morning 6 a.m. to noon, Afternoon noon to 6 p.m., Evening 6 p.m. to midnight and Overnight midnight to 6 a.m.
The site lists 103,857+ hotels across 46 states and prices day rooms at 30-75 percent below the nightly rate. It charges no booking fee, and the traveller pays the hotel for the slot.
Nine hours runs past the six-to-eight-hour definition. Two windows at one property cover the full hall day.
Three cards near the grounds
The Dayuse Tampa page carried 14 priced cards on October 21, 2026, from $60 to $175 before fees. Three sit in the fairgrounds district.
Clarion Pointe Tampa-Brandon Near Fairgrounds and Casino prints $65 for the day, against a $96 nightly rate. The card carries a $6 booking fee, which takes the total to $71. Its windows run 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Quality Inn & Suites Tampa near Fairgrounds and Casino prints $65 plus the same $6 fee, $71 in total, against $88 nightly. Its windows run 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Quality Inn and Conference Center Tampa-Brandon prints $60 plus $6, $66 in total, against $87 nightly, with windows at 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The nine hours, window by window
The 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. window at Quality Inn near Fairgrounds covers the last seven hours of the hall day. The 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. windows cover the first six. No published window runs 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Two windows at one property cover the whole day. At Quality Inn near Fairgrounds the 8-2 and 2-7 pair costs $71 twice, $142, against $88 for the night. At Clarion Pointe the 8-2 and 10-4 pair reaches 4 p.m. for $142 against $96.
The hotel across the street
The venue trip planning page lists Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tampa Fairgrounds Casino at a distance of 0.2 miles. Its copy reads: We are directly across the street from the Florida State Fairgrounds.
The property carries no day card in the Dayuse Tampa set. A daytime slot on December 6 is a call to the front desk, and the 0.2-mile field is the distance to quote.
Three buildings on one Sunday
The venue calendar lists three events on December 6. The Tampa Sports Collectors Expo runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Special Events Center at the MLK Blvd Entrance, Gate 3. The Florida Gun Show runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Expo Hall at the US Hwy 301 Entrance, Gate 1. The cheer competition runs 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Entertainment Hall at that same Gate 1.
The gun show and the cheer competition share the Gate 1 entrance. Each show sells its own parking product, and one pass covers one arrival.
The Florida rule
hotelSlots restricts day-use booking in four states. Its home-page FAQ reads: A few states (FL, HI, IA, WA) restrict day-use bookings under state travel laws.
The directory carries no Florida page. /directory/florida and /directory/tampa both return HTTP 404.
A Tampa day room on December 6 is arranged with the property. Quote the 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. window, ask for the total with tax, and ask whether the rate holds a 5 p.m. checkout.
