Day Rooms for a Daytime Fair: NADA Miami 2026 Hours

NADA Miami opens its public run with a three-hour window on Tuesday, December 1, then runs four full days. The 24th edition takes Ice Palace Studios, 1400 North Miami Avenue, from December 1 to December 5, 2026. More than 130 galleries and art spaces take part, drawn from 63 cities and 27 countries.

Two downtown hotels publish day rates. YVE Hotel Miami lists $111 against a $245 overnight rate, a 55 percent saving. Gale Miami Hotel and Residences lists $148 against $370, a 60 percent saving. A visitor who lands on a morning flight and leaves in the evening can hold a room across the middle of a fair day.

The published hours

The NADA visit page carries the grid in full. A VIP preview runs Tuesday, December 1 from 10am to 4pm by invitation. The public enters that day from 4pm to 7pm. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday run 11am to 7pm. Saturday runs 11am to 6pm. Last entry for guests is 15 minutes before the close.

A 10am arrival has one hour to spare

YVE lists two windows, 10am to 6pm and 2pm to 8pm. Gale lists 8am to 2pm and 9am to 4pm. A 10am check-in at YVE leaves one hour before the 11am doors, and the room runs to 6pm, one hour short of the 7pm close.

The bag check is the bottleneck

NADA answers the bag question on its FAQ page. The bag check area sits at the information desk onsite. Space for luggage and small bags is limited and offered first come, first served. The fair asks visitors to keep belongings with them where possible and recommends minimal personal belongings.

That page names no other storage point. A day room gives a bag a locked room for the hours between the flight and the fair.

Opening day fits a 2pm slot

The public window on December 1 runs three hours, from 4pm to 7pm. YVE lists a 2pm to 8pm slot at $111. That window opens two hours before the doors and closes one hour after them. A morning arrival drops the bag in the room and drives four minutes to the fair.

Tickets and what they cost

Early-bird single-day admission is $45. The early-bird multi-day pass is $65. A Vernissage Pass is $150. Senior, 65 and over, and student passes cost $35 and sell onsite only with proof of identification. Children aged 12 and under enter free.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. A single-day holder can move the booked entry day, subject to availability, through the change link in the confirmation email. The fair advises buying online, because only a limited number of tickets sell onsite.

Getting in and back out

Entry runs on a QR code, scanned at arrival and on each re-entry. NADA runs a complimentary shuttle to and from the Miami Beach Water Taxi at the Venetian Marina. The fair is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility. Pets are barred, service animals excepted.

Distance to the fair

YVE Hotel Miami sits at 146 Biscayne Boulevard. The straight-line distance to 1400 North Miami Avenue measures 0.99 miles. A routing check returns 1.5 road miles and 4 minutes by car. Gale Miami carries a Downtown Miami breadcrumb on its day-use card and publishes no street line, so its drive time stays unmeasured here.

Combining slots for a full fair day

hotelSlots splits a day into four slots: Morning 6AM to 12PM, Afternoon 12PM to 6PM, Evening 6PM to 12AM and Overnight 12AM to 6AM. The help page states that a guest can book one slot or combine several for full-day coverage.

An 11am to 7pm fair day needs the morning and the afternoon together. Neither downtown card runs those eight hours in one window. Settle the handover at the front desk before paying, because a 10am to 6pm room leaves the final hour of the fair uncovered.

The Florida rule on day-use booking

hotelSlots covers 46 states with 103,857+ hotels offering day-use rooms. Its seller-of-travel page, last updated October 18, 2026, states that the platform cannot process hotel booking requests from residents of or for travel to Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington. The page cites Florida's Chapter 559 registration requirement and routes questions to compliance@hotelhuddle.com. The platform directory carries no Florida state page; /directory/florida answers with a 404 and a two-byte body.

The day rates in this piece come from the dayuse.com Miami page, read on 18 October 2026, and serve as a market reference for the address where you stay.

What is on the floor

45 exhibitors are new to the fair this year. 66 NADA Gallery Members take part. Solo presentations include Sheroanawe Hakihiiwe at ABRA, Caracas and Antone Könst at CASTLE, Los Angeles. A portion of ticket proceeds funds the ninth annual NADA Acquisition Gift for PAMM, which lets Pérez Art Museum Miami curators buy works from the fair for the permanent collection.

Among the downtown cards, YVE's 2pm slot on December 1 is the one window that covers opening day from the doors to the close.
