The inaugural USAV Golden Gate Classic Girls Junior National Qualifier runs Friday 19 February through Sunday 21 February 2027 at Moscone Center in San Francisco. The organiser lists the venue at 747 Howard Street. It is a qualifier, so each day splits into waves, and the gap between waves is the time a day room near the hall covers.

The lobby Wi-Fi is free and capped

Moscone publishes one attendee network and one figure. The venue's WiFi page says the service is provided by Moscone Facility Services and is available throughout the street level lobbies of Moscone South, Moscone North and Moscone West. It is free. It is unsupported. And it "is rate-limited to 1Mbps up and down." The same page offers meeting planners a more robust or event-specific wireless network in public spaces, session rooms or exhibit halls, priced by quote. The venue's FAQ puts the attendee experience in one sentence: all lobbies have complimentary WiFi "which is suitable for checking email and casual browsing," and many conference groups opt to provide upgraded WiFi for their attendees.

For a three-day qualifier whose organiser runs its own stream through a partner, the published ceiling is the fact to plan around. The event page says professional live streaming is handled by BallerTV and that any other live streaming, including the use of Facebook Live, is strictly prohibited.

Water stations, and the food and chair rules

The venue's hydration page says the Moscone Center added filtered water hydration stations as part of its expansion project, that the units sit throughout Moscone North and South, and that it encourages everyone to bring their own reusable water bottle. Moscone West, the third building on the campus, is not named in that block.

The organiser's FAQ covers what cannot come through the doors: "No outside food, coolers or chairs are allowed in the convention center." The same answer says the Moscone Convention Center will be selling food in the venue and has made an effort to provide a good variety of options. Plan on buying food inside, and bring a refillable bottle.

Doors, waves and the middle of the day

The organiser publishes its entry times in the FAQ. Morning waves: doors open at 7 a.m. Afternoon waves: doors open at 2:30 p.m., which the page says is to allow the morning waves to leave after their scheduled 1 p.m. game. That leaves a stretch between the end of the morning session and the afternoon doors, and no seat in the hall covers it.

Other published times matter for a travel plan. Teams may practise at the Moscone Center on 18 February, the day before play, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm; court space is allocated first come, first served and each team is limited to one hour. On the final day of play the last match is scheduled to start at 3 p.m., and the page recommends that departing flights are not booked before 6 p.m. The final schedule is posted at the beginning of the week of play.

Tickets for parents and spectators go on sale in December. Coaches and rostered staff receive a free QR code by email the day before the event starts, and players enter through the Athlete Entrance and are issued no code, wristband or bag tag. Division entry is $925 per team. Registration opened 16 September 2026, the registration deadline is 31 December 2026, the roster deadline is 1 January 2027 and the refund deadline is 10 January 2027. Housing runs through Team Travel Source and is open only to teams in an Ok to Pay or Accepted status.

Day slots priced against the hall

hotelSlots sells four slot names with their clocks, Morning 6AM-12PM, Afternoon 12PM-6PM, Evening 6PM-12AM and Overnight 12AM-6AM, and states that day-use rates run 30-75 percent below the nightly rate at the same hotel. The platform lists 103,857+ hotels across 46 states, notes that a few states (FL, HI, IA, WA) restrict day-use bookings under state travel laws, and states that California is not among the four.

The priced market around the hall read nine San Francisco day cards on a 15 October 2026 read of the marketplace Dayuse: Hotel Bijou - Union Square $85, The Mosser Hotel $91, Hotel Caza Fisherman's Wharf $107, Hilton San Francisco Financial District $116, Axiom Hotel San Francisco $122, Hotel Zeppelin San Francisco $138, Hotel Zelos San Francisco $144, Hotel Zetta San Francisco $152 and Taj Campton Place $159. The nine cards average $123.78 on that read, and the page carried 39 San Francisco day hotels in all.

The venue states that The Moscone Center does not have on-site parking, and its public-transit page names BART stations two blocks from the center: Powell Street and Montgomery Street. Day rates move between reads, so recheck the price on the day you book, set the slot against your team's published wave times, and confirm the concession rules with the organiser before you travel.
