The Monumental Health & Fitness Expo runs Friday, 6 November, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Exhibit Hall A-B at the Indiana Convention Center, with a forecast attendance of 20,000. The race starts the next morning.
A room between the hall and the calls
hotelSlots books day-use rooms in four blocks: Morning, 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Afternoon, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Evening, 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.; and Overnight, 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. One booking covers one block, and combined blocks cover a full day. The platform puts a typical day-use stay at six to eight hours.
An afternoon or evening block covers the walk from Exhibit Hall A-B, a shower and the calls that did not fit around the expo floor. The platform's short-stay guide puts a four-hour afternoon window as the fit for a shower, a nap and a focused stretch of work. The workspace page describes a quiet, professional space with reliable Wi-Fi, business-grade internet, a desk, ergonomic seating and privacy for calls.
What a day slot costs
hotelSlots advertises day rates at 30 to 75 percent below the nightly rate at the same hotel and states that it charges no booking fee. Its rate article puts a day slot at roughly 40 to 60 percent of the nightly figure for that room.
Market readings for the city: Dayuse publishes an average day-room price of $87.43 for Indianapolis. Engine reports a $128 average nightly rate for Indianapolis across 1.2 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026, with November at $122. Engine labels those figures par rates, the cheapest public price at the time of each search.
Day-use inventory is limited by design, and the platform's own guide says the best slots fill first, especially weekday afternoons and airport-area locations. Friday is a weekday.
Race morning
Gear check opens at 6:30 a.m. Saturday at Washington Street and West Street. The half marathon and the marathon start at 8:00 a.m., and the 5K goes at 8:40 a.m. The course closes at 3:30 p.m. and the marathon carries a seven-hour time limit. A pre-race warm-up area in the Expo Hall opens at 6 a.m., and waves are assigned from the expected finish time given at registration.
Discard clothing at the start line or on the course and it is collected and donated to a local charity. Changing Footprints accepts new or gently used shoes at its booth on Thursday, 5 November, and Friday, 6 November.
Parking on expo Friday
The race organiser counts 73,000-plus parking spots around Indianapolis and points drivers at Downtown Indy's parking resources. ParkMobile services most street spots and flat lots around the city.
The Indiana Convention Center reports more than 70,000 parking spaces downtown and states that Denison Parking operates all convention center and Lucas Oil Stadium lots. Parking for people with disabilities sits in surrounding lots and garages on a first-come, first-served basis. The organiser asks drivers to review the traffic restrictions map before heading downtown on race day.
Block deadlines if the trip extends
For a stay that runs past the day slot, the race block takes occupant names by 29 September, cancels free until 8 October with a $25 fee per reservation after, adds nights from 5 to 16 October, and stops modifications through the Housing Bureau on 22 October. housing@visitindy.com and 317-262-8191 answer weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET.
Skywalks and facility doors run event-dependent hours, with a rule of thumb of lock-down near 11:00 p.m. and reopening near 6:00 a.m.
The hotelSlots Indianapolis directory header reads 273 hotels available, and the page body reads 123 hotels to choose from. Day-use bookings are restricted by state travel law in Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington. Indiana sits outside that group.
