What the card publishes

The Urban League of Portland holds its MLK Day Brunch in Portland Ballroom 251 and 258 at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, on Monday 18 January 2027, from 11 AM to 1 PM. The venue card carries no ticket price and no registration line. Its event website link opens the League's home page.

The card describes the programme: a community breakfast, reflections and a call to action. It marks 80 years of the League's work and lists policy priorities across criminal justice reform, economic justice, education, housing and workforce development. The League dates its work to 1945.

The Monday in the building

The January calendar lists the Pacific Office Automation annual meeting in the Portland Ballroom on 16 January and the 56th Annual Estate Planning Seminar in Portland Ballroom 253-254-255 on 29 January. On 18 January the brunch is the only listing. Major League Table Tennis leaves Hall A after 17 January.

A half-day with no room night

A guest who stays Sunday night hands the room back before the 11 AM programme. A day-use slot buys the hours after 1 PM at a day rate, with no room night attached.

Dayuse's Portland page listed 19 priced cards on 19 October 2026. Five publish a window that opens at noon or later. Royal Sonesta Portland Downtown, 0.90 miles, $107, windows 1 PM to 7 PM and 5 PM to 10 PM. Hotel Lucia, 0.90 miles, $118, window 1 PM to 5 PM. The Nines, 0.96 miles, $159, window 1 PM to 9 PM. Kimpton Hotel Vintage, 0.92 miles, $135, window noon to 7 PM. Jupiter Original, 0.42 miles, $89, window 5 PM to 11 PM.

Cards that also cover the morning

Jupiter Original runs 10 AM to 4 PM and 5 PM to 11 PM. Hyatt Centric Downtown, 1.11 miles, $106, runs 8 AM to 3 PM and 10 AM to 5 PM. Staypineapple Hotel Rose, 0.88 miles, $112, runs 8 AM to 2 PM and 10 AM to 5 PM. The Hotel Zags, 1.32 miles, $106, runs 10 AM to 5 PM.

Inside the building

Complimentary Wi-Fi covers all lobbies and meeting rooms. Basic service costs $12 a day and Business Class $50 a day, charged to a card. Three LocketGo banks take a coat and a bag at the MLK Lobby, the Holladay Lobby and the Ginkoberry Concourse, reservable with a mobile device and a card. Two Portland Coffee Roasters cafés and Stir Bistro and Lounge serve food. The building is cashless, with five ATMs inside and a reverse ATM to the left of the welcome desk in the MLK Lobby. Two first aid rooms sit in the Exhibit Hall A Lobby and outside Exhibit Hall E.

Getting in and out

The garage holds 800 spaces at $15 for up to 18 hours with no in-and-out privilege, and charges a dynamic $15 to $25 at the gate on event days. It opens at 6 AM and prohibits overnight parking. MAX stops 300 times a day at the front door.

What four hours cost

Hotel Lucia's 1 PM to 5 PM window costs $118 and covers the four hours after the brunch, 0.90 miles from the doors. Royal Sonesta adds two hours for $107, from 1 PM to 7 PM at the same distance. Jupiter Original takes the evening from 5 PM for $89, at 0.42 miles, the nearest card in the set.

The cards carried booking fees of $6 to $10 on this read. Day rates and windows move between reads. Confirm the brunch arrangements with the Urban League before you book, because the venue card publishes no ticket price and no registration link.
