One badge, one building

Kumoricon runs from 13 to 15 November at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. The convention occupies Halls A, A1, B, C, D and E. A single-day membership lets a Portland resident attend one day and sleep at home.

Single-day prices

Friday costs $55 for ages 13 and up. Saturday costs $60. Sunday costs $55. Ages 6 to 12 pay $20 on any single day, and ages 5 and under enter free.

A full weekend membership starts at $65 and rises to $100 at the door. The weekend rate for ages 6 to 12 runs from $25 to $35.

The 9pm window

Each single-day membership goes on sale online at 9pm the night before. The same badge sells at the door from 8am on the day. Kumoricon states that pre-registration checks in faster and costs less. Memberships are nonrefundable and cannot be sold.

What the venue asks of you

Every attendee needs valid government-issued photo ID. A parent or guardian signs permission for anyone under 18, and must stay with anyone under 13 at all times. That parent must hold a paid membership too.

The convention center accepts card and touchless payment at its cafe, its garage and its box office. Reverse ATMs inside turn cash into a Visa card for use in the building.

Parking is $15 for up to 18 hours

The underground garage charges $15 for up to 18 hours and grants no in-and-out privileges. Event days add a dynamic $15 to $25 rate at the gate. The garage opens at 6am. Entrances sit at NE Lloyd Boulevard on P1 and NE First Avenue on P2. Overnight parking is prohibited.

A car parked at 8am holds the $15 window until 2am.

Hours the badge covers

Kumoricon lists Friday and Saturday as 8am to midnight and Sunday as 8am to 4pm. Its registration FAQ calls those hours approximate until the schedule is finalised, and states that registration closes before programming ends each day.

Day rooms sell by the block

hotelSlots runs day-use bookings. Its help pages state that day-use rooms are available during daytime hours, typically 8am to 6pm, and that exact availability varies by hotel. Hotels list slots in 3-hour, 6-hour and full-day blocks. The request is free to submit and the hotel confirms the booking.

Published day-use rates run 40 to 60 percent below the overnight rate for the same room.

The Portland inventory

hotelSlots lists 278 hotels in Portland on its directory page, read on 18 October 2026. Straight-line miles from 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd to the properties in the 97232 ZIP code that holds the convention center, read on the same date:

Inn at the Convention Center, 420 NE Holladay St, 0.17 miles. Hotel Eastlund, 1021 NE Grand Ave, 0.20 miles. Hyatt Regency Portland, 375 NE Holladay St, 0.21 miles. Quality Inn Downtown Convention Center, 431 NE Multnomah St, 0.31 miles. Courtyard Portland Downtown/Convention Center, 435 NE Wasco St, 0.35 miles. DoubleTree by Hilton Portland, 1000 NE Multnomah St, 0.47 miles.

Oregon sits inside the service area

hotelSlots names Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington as the four states where it cannot process bookings. Oregon carries no restriction on that list, which was updated on 18 October 2026.

The arithmetic for one day

A Saturday badge costs $60 and the garage costs $15, so $75 before food. A day room adds the property's quoted rate for the block chosen. A full-day slot, typically 8am to 6pm, spans the badge day and leaves the evening free.

A resident who drives in pays the badge and the garage and needs nothing else. A visitor who wants a shower between the halls and an evening flight books one block at one rate.
