Two Ways to Buy Part of the Week

Microsoft Ignite runs November 17 to 20, 2026 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, with an optional pre-day on November 16. The full Conference pass costs $2,325. It covers the in-person experiences on the Moscone campus, sessions, content, learning and networking, plus access to the digital venue, and it includes lunches, snacks and beverages.

Two other passes cover part of the week. The Hub-only pass costs $1,625. The add-on Pre-day pass costs $325.

What the $1,625 Pass Covers

The passes page describes the Hub-only pass in one sentence: access Hub experiences, including booths, theater sessions, lunch service, and more at the Moscone Center campus, November 17 to 19.

Three days out of four. A delegate who cannot spare the full week buys the Hub pass and works away from the venue on November 16 and November 20. Lunch service sits inside the $1,625.

The agenda carries the Hub as a track of its own. One block reads: Hub open, connect with experts, partners, and peers in the Hub to explore solutions, ask questions, and solve real challenges. A later block adds: spend time in the Hub connecting with experts, exploring solutions, and discovering what is new.

The Pre-Day Attaches to the Conference Pass

The FAQ answers the purchase question in one sentence: the option to add a Pre-Day Pass to your Conference Pass will be available closer to the event.

Read that line before treating $1,625 and $325 as a single purchase. The page attaches the Pre-Day Pass to the Conference Pass. A delegate buying only the Hub-only pass should confirm the pairing with Microsoft before planning a November 16 arrival around the pre-day.

The agenda places the pre-day content under two headings. One reads Pre-day sessions and labs: deepen your expertise with hands-on pre-day training and labs to help build skills you can put into action right away. A second reads Pre-day sessions, Certifications and labs. The post-keynote agenda also carries onsite certification testing, which is free and needs a reservation.

Four Dates That Govern the Purchase

In-person registration closes at 5:00 PM Pacific Time on Friday, November 13, 2026. Registration transfers close at the same hour on the same day, and a transfer must be started by the original registrant.

Hotel reservations made through the Ignite registration page must be booked by 3:00 PM Pacific Time on Friday, October 16, 2026. Cancellation requests must arrive by 11:59 PM Pacific Time on the same Friday, October 16, 2026. Conference and Hub-only passes cancelled on or before that date are eligible for a refund minus a $200 processing fee.

The FAQ states two more terms. Bundle pricing offers are not available. Attendees must register individually.

The Shape of the Week

Badge pick-up opens before the first session, and the badge unlocks the full event experience. The opening keynote takes place at Chase Center, and Microsoft runs shuttles from the Moscone campus with time built in for the trip.

The Hub opens alongside the keynote. Late night labs run in the evenings, and sessions, labs and certification testing fill the afternoons. A welcome reception follows the first full day, a partner keynote follows the second, and a celebration closes the run. The FAQ describes the week as a three-and-a-half-day experience with hundreds of sessions, hands-on labs and live demos.

Two notes sit in the health guidance. Masks are optional and available at information desks. Attendees who feel unwell before or during the week are asked to stay home.

Day Rooms Downtown

Moscone South stands at 747 Howard Street in ZIP 94103. The platform's San Francisco directory lists 38 members in that ZIP. Two of them also appear in Microsoft's own hotel block: Canopy by Hilton San Francisco SoMa at 250 4th Street and the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA at 50 3rd Street.

Straight-line miles from each property's own coordinates to Moscone South run 0.14 for the Canopy, 0.21 for the Hyatt Regency, 0.23 for the Mosser Hotel at 54 4th Street, 0.25 for Hotel Zelos at 12 4th Street and 0.32 for Hotel Zetta at 55 5th Street.

The platform sells day-use rooms in four slots: morning 6 am to 12 pm, afternoon 12 pm to 6 pm, evening 6 pm to 12 am and overnight 12 am to 6 am. Its published San Francisco day rates on the October 14, 2026 read run from $85 to $159 across nine city-scoped cards, against a city average of $119.61 for a day room.

Hotel Bijou Union Square lists $85 with windows from 8 am to 2 pm and 9 am to 4 pm. The Mosser Hotel lists $91 across five windows between 8 am and 10 pm. Hotel Caza Fisherman's Wharf lists $107, the Hilton San Francisco Financial District $116 on a single 10 am to 4 pm window, Axiom Hotel $122, Hotel Zeppelin $138, Hotel Zelos $144, Hotel Zetta $152 and Taj Campton Place $159. Hotel Bijou and the Hilton publish the shortest windows, so a delegate who wants a room through the afternoon should check the Mosser or the Axiom set before booking.

The remaining eleven cards on the city page carry a breadcrumb in San Mateo or Alameda County, so treat them as airport and East Bay inventory. The Digital pass is free and covers the keynotes and the livestreamed sessions for a delegate who cannot travel.
