The 2027 ASCO Genitourinary Cancers Symposium runs Thursday 11 February through Saturday 13 February 2027 at Moscone West, 800 Howard Street in San Francisco. The venue record carries it as the American Society of Clinical Oncology GU Cancers Symposium 2027, in person from 11 to 13 February at Moscone West, with a digital attendance option. One published constraint shapes the working hours between sessions: the daytime Wi-Fi ceiling.

The Wi-Fi ceiling is published as a number

Moscone's WiFi page states that the attendee service covers the street level lobbies of Moscone South, Moscone North and Moscone West, and that it is free and unsupported. The same page publishes the rate: the service "is rate-limited to 1Mbps up and down." The venue FAQ puts the attendee experience in one sentence: all lobbies have complimentary WiFi "which is suitable for checking email and casual browsing."

Both pages point to the same upgrade path. Moscone offers a more robust or event-specific wireless network in those public spaces or inside session rooms or exhibit halls, priced by quote. At GU27, a video call or a large download is a room job.

Charging spaces and lounges

The venue's public-seating page lists the lounges that carry power. The Moscone West Level 2 Lobby sits between the escalators and the windows to Howard Street. The Moscone North Lobby, a lounge by Room 201 on Moscone South Level 2, the Moscone South Upper Mezzanine and the South Level 2 and Level 3 terraces round out the set. The venue describes these areas as places to sit, charge devices and work between sessions.

Water, food and the venue rules

The venue's hydration page says the Moscone Center added filtered water hydration stations as part of its expansion project, that the units sit throughout Moscone North and South, and that it encourages everyone to bring their own reusable water bottle. Moscone West, the GU27 building, is not named in that block.

The Moscone Center does not offer on-site parking. Its public-transit page names the two routes: BART or MUNI to Powell station for Moscone West, and to Montgomery station for Moscone North and South. Both stations sit two blocks from the center.

A day room answers the Wi-Fi ceiling

Day-use inventory around Moscone West is dense and priced. On a 15 October 2026 read of its San Francisco page, the marketplace Dayuse listed 39 day hotels and carried these nine city cards: Hotel Bijou - Union Square at $85, The Mosser Hotel at $91, Hotel Caza Fisherman's Wharf at $107, Hilton San Francisco Financial District at $116, Axiom Hotel San Francisco at $122, Hotel Zeppelin San Francisco at $138, Hotel Zelos San Francisco at $144, Hotel Zetta San Francisco at $152 and Taj Campton Place at $159. The nine cards average $123.78 on that read.

The platform's own pages publish the terms. hotelSlots sells four slot names with their clocks, Morning 6AM-12PM, Afternoon 12PM-6PM, Evening 6PM-12AM and Overnight 12AM-6AM, and states that day-use rates run 30-75 percent below the nightly rate at the same hotel. The network covers 46 states with 103,857+ hotels, and the platform notes that a few states (FL, HI, IA, WA) restrict day-use bookings under state travel laws. California is not among them.

Getting in and out

Moscone West sits at 800 Howard Street at the corner of Fourth and Howard. Day rates and availability move between reads, so confirm the price on the day of booking and check the slot against the posted meeting hours.
