The Tampa United Volleyball Gasparilla Volleyball Classic runs from Saturday 13 February to Monday 15 February 2027 at the Tampa Convention Center, 333 S. Franklin St. The city record prints the span as 7 a.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Monday, and its own description reads "Doors open at 7am Saturday, Sunday and Monday."
The tournament takes pre-registration only. Parents and guests buy tickets with QR codes at East Registration. The same record answers the public-access field with Yes and prints no ticket price, so confirm the gate cost with the club.
Eleven-hour days, three in a row
A 7 a.m. door and a 6 p.m. close make an eleven-hour day. The city record names the East, Central and West Exhibit Halls.
Registration sits on the second floor. The exhibit halls sit on the third, beside Central Eats, the East and West Grill and a Starbucks coffee bar. Free Wi-Fi covers public areas and meeting rooms. Internet inside the exhibit halls is a daily-fee service run by the venue's provider.
The organiser's calendar at jvctournaments.com listed 19 tournaments for the 2026-27 season on 21 October 2026. Its Tampa stops read 26 to 28 February and 13 to 14 and 20 to 21 March. No Gasparilla row sat on that calendar, so take wave times and the daily finish from the club.
Four downtown cards, read 21 October 2026
The Tampa day-use page carried fourteen priced cards on 21 October 2026. Four of them serve downtown.
Aloft Tampa Downtown asks $109 plus a $7 booking fee, a $116 total, for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Its nightly rate reads $250, and the venue hotel list puts the property 0.6 miles out.
The Westin Tampa Waterside asks $129 plus $9, a $138 total, for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Its nightly rate reads $330, and the venue hotel list puts the property 0.3 miles out.
Le Meridien Tampa, The Courthouse asks $129 plus $9, a $138 total, for 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.. Its nightly rate reads $305, and the venue hotel list puts the property 0.7 miles out.
Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown asks $139 plus $9, a $148 total, for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Its nightly rate reads $240. The venue list carries the property under its earlier name, The Floridan Palace Hotel, at 1 mile.
Each card carries one booking fee beside its day rate. The page prints no city average for a day rate.
What a window covers of a tournament day
A 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. room covers six hours of an eleven-hour day. The 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. room at Le Meridien covers the last four hours and the two after the final whistle.
Three of the four windows open at 10 a.m., three hours after the first serve. Check the wave before booking. A 7 a.m. pool start leaves three uncovered hours. A 2 p.m. bracket start sits inside every window.
Parking and the walk
The convention center garage at 141 E. Brorein St holds 454 spaces, 11 accessible spaces and two electric vehicle chargers, with a 6-foot-6 clearance. The event rate runs $5.00 to $50.00, and the non-event rate runs $3 an hour against an $18 daily maximum. The garage carries no long-term parking.
Front Drive at 333 S. Franklin St holds 36 metered spaces at $4 an hour from 8 a.m. to midnight and bars overnight parking.
The meters start an hour after the doors open.
The venue page puts Tampa International Airport 16 minutes away.
Who the day room serves
A parent driving in for a Saturday wave wants a shower and a quiet hour between matches. A coach between pool play and bracket play wants the same. A club director working a three-day entry wants a desk for the afternoon.
Each of those fits a 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. window or the 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. window, and the venue list puts three of the four properties at 0.7 miles or less from the front drive.
Booking the slot
hotelslots.org publishes four slots: Morning 6 a.m. to noon, Afternoon noon to 6 p.m., Evening 6 p.m. to midnight and Overnight midnight to 6 a.m. The site states day-use rates run 30 to 75 percent below the nightly rate, and it lists $0 fees.
hotelslots.org publishes a seller-of-travel notice dated 21 October 2026. The notice states that booking requests from residents of or for travel to Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington cannot be processed, and names the restriction across grouprooms.org, hotelhaggle.org, hotelslots.org, bookmyteam.org and partners.hotelhuddle.com. A Tampa day room goes to the property directly, so ask for the rate and the window in writing.
Book the window against a 7 a.m. first serve and a 6 p.m. Monday close. The 10-to-4 card covers the middle of the day, and the nearest of the four sits 0.3 miles from the front drive.
