The published fair clock
The 2026 edition, the twelfth, ran Thursday, January 22 through Sunday, January 25. Its published hours were 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
An 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. day is an eight-hour window, and Sunday runs six hours. The 2027 hours are not posted. The FOG Talks page promises the 2027 lineup in mid-November.
What one ticket covers
The 2026 general-admission ticket included entry to both FOG Design+Art and FOG FOCUS, plus access to FOG Talks. Single-day tickets were $35 in advance and $40 after January 21, 2026, plus fees. A four-day pass was $95 in advance and $100 after January 21, 2026, plus fees. Children 12 and under enter free, and a $5 student rate applies to single-day admission in person with a valid student ID. The 2027 tickets go on sale in mid-November.
FOG Design+Art hangs on Pier 3, and FOG FOCUS hangs on Pier 2. The fair's release of October 15, 2026 puts 50 exhibitors in the FOG Pavilion, 26 presentations in FOG FOCUS and more than 75 galleries across the fair. FOG Talks moves to the Cowell Theater.
The Preview Gala opened the 2026 fair on Wednesday, January 21 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. with tiered entry. Supporter-level tickets started at $250, and the Bronze to Titanium packages ran from $1,000 to $20,000. The 2027 gala page prices the same ladder from $300 to $25,000.
Self-guided tour packages run for up to 20 guests on the Thursday and the Friday of the fair. They need advance organisation and fair approval.
Parking, transit and the eight-hour visit
Fort Mason Center provides paid parking, and the main campus entrance sits off Marina Boulevard at Buchanan Street. Event day rates run $6 for the first hour, $12 for two hours, $18 for three hours, $24 for four hours and $30 beyond four hours. An 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. visit lands in the four-hours-plus band. Overnight parking is not permitted, and parking fees apply from 7:00 a.m. to midnight daily.
MUNI lines 28, 30, 30X, 43 and 49 serve the campus. Golden Gate Transit stops at the intersection of Lombard and Fillmore Streets.
