DC Cocktail Week 2026 runs Monday 30 November to Sunday 6 December. The Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington produces the week, and a participating venue sells a cocktail and a bite at one price on each day it opens.

The courtyard that opens at 3 p.m.

Dirty Habit at 555 8th Street NW runs its courtyard as Snowed In, a winter chalet, from 11 November to 31 December. The chalet opens Monday to Friday after 3:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday after 12:00 noon. The chalet menu follows the same split.

Walk-ins take the courtyard on a first-come basis. A semi-private area goes through the venue's events team.

Posted hours run 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. The kitchen closes between services from 3 to 4 p.m. at the weekend, and the restaurant stays open through that hour. The bar runs to 1 a.m. by volume. The venue answers on 202-449-7095.

Four programmes on the chalet calendar

Chalet Nights runs on select Thursdays at 7 p.m. with music, s'mores and games. Chalet Cinema runs on select Sundays at 6 p.m. Cookie Chalet runs 12 December from 12 to 3 p.m., and its $25 ticket covers three cookies, icing, toppings and packaging. The venue also runs a satellite bar through its holiday market period from 13 November to 31 December, serving a Fireside Cider and a Downtown Get Down cocktail.

The market's own 2026 listing places the DC Holiday Market on the 1500 block of New Hampshire Avenue NW at Dupont Circle, from 12 November to 23 December, with noon to 8 p.m. hours on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at weekends. The venue describes its satellite bar as steps from its own entrance. Confirm the site before a team walks to it.

Day rooms with a window that opens at 1, 2 or 3 p.m.

hotelSlots sells four slots: Morning 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., Afternoon 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Evening 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. and Overnight 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. The Afternoon slot covers a meeting day that ends at 3.

Individual properties also sell their own windows. Dayuse's Washington page carried 38 day-use cards on 23 October 2026, at day rates from $85 to $239. Eight District cards carry a window that opens between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

AC Hotel Washington DC Convention Center lists 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at $99, 0.42 miles from 555 8th Street. Hotel Zena lists 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at $125 with a $9 prepaid fee, 0.74 miles. Le Meridien Washington, DC, The Madison lists 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at $131, 0.86 miles. The Beacon Hotel & Corporate Headquarters lists 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at $90, 1.09 miles. The bill for the afternoon

hotelSlots publishes day-use rates as typically 30 to 75 percent below the nightly rate at the same hotel, with $0 in fees. Its day-use page states 40 to 60 percent below overnight. A $99 window and one pairing at the venue's price is the whole spend for the afternoon.

RAMW states that the venue sets the pairing price and that no promotional price is fixed. The site posts its venue pages on 1 November, so no 2026 pairing price is public on 23 October.

Three checks before the team books

Check the venue's pairing price from 1 November. Check the day rate and the window on the specific listing, because each hotel sets its own. Check the weekday clock against the chalet: 30 November to 4 December and 7 December fall on weekdays, and 5 and 6 December fall at the weekend.
