What the Organiser Publishes

The 45th Annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference runs January 11-14, 2027 in San Francisco, California. The official conference page carries those dates and the city. It describes the meeting as "the largest and most informative healthcare investment symposium in the industry", connecting "global industry leaders, emerging fast-growth companies, innovative technology creators and members of the investment community".

Access is closed. The same page reads: "This event is by invitation only and invitations are not transferable. Contact your J.P. Morgan representative for more information." It also carries a warning that belongs in every buyer's file: "This is an official site of the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference. Please note there are sites offering hotel rates and access to the conference that are not affiliated with J.P. Morgan."

What the Page Does Not Publish

The page runs about 34,000 characters of text once the markup comes off. It names no venue, no session clock, no attendance figure and no room block. The words "venue", "attendance" and "register" do not appear on it, and it names no hotel. It carries no day-use or workspace guidance of any kind.

That absence is the working fact for a productivity buyer. Four nights at the conference dates is the only stay the calendar implies. The organiser publishes no hotel, no rate and no cut-off to plan against.

A Ring of Unaffiliated Sites Sells Rooms and Meeting Space

J.P. Morgan's warning names a real pattern. Sites that follow the conference dates name The Westin St. Francis Hotel as the venue, publish the address 335 Powell St, San Francisco, CA 94102, and quote an attendance figure of about 8,000. They sell group hotel bookings and meeting rooms for the January dates at rates they call blocked or contracted. None of them is the J.P. Morgan page.

Treat those offers as unaffiliated, on the organiser's own wording. The address they agree on is worth keeping for orientation. The network's San Francisco directory lists The Westin St. Francis at 335 Powell Street, 94102, four stars.

Where Day-Use Demand Lands on an Invitation-Only Week

An invitation that cannot be transferred keeps the conference floor small and pushes everyone outside the invitation into the surrounding hours. Analysts, communications teams, portfolio associates and the staff of companies presenting at parallel meetings all need somewhere to work from January 11 to 14.

A day room answers that group better than a four-night booking. The platform sells the day in four windows: Morning 6AM-12PM, Afternoon 12PM-6PM, Evening 6PM-12AM and Overnight 12AM-6AM. A booker can reserve one slot or combine several for full-day coverage. A day-use room is a room held for daytime hours, typically six to eight hours, without an overnight stay.

Three uses follow the shape of a conference week. A pre-briefing call before the first company presentation fits the Morning slot, which starts at 6AM. Two back-to-back video calls across European and West Coast time zones fit the Afternoon slot, which runs to 6PM. An evening debrief after a day of hallway meetings fits the Evening slot, which runs to 12AM.

What a Day Room Costs Around the Address the Listings Name

Nine city-scoped San Francisco day rates read on 14 October 2026 run from $85 to $159, against a published city average of $119.61. Hotel Bijou - Union Square at $85, Axiom Hotel San Francisco at $122 and Taj Campton Place at $159 carry Union Square in the name or on the card. The remaining six are The Mosser Hotel at $91, Hotel Caza Fisherman's Wharf at $107, the Hilton San Francisco Financial District at $116, Hotel Zeppelin at $138, Hotel Zelos at $144 and Hotel Zetta at $152.

The windows each card sells are narrower than the platform's four slots, so read them before booking. Axiom sells 8am-2pm, 10am-4pm and 3pm-9pm. Hotel Bijou sells 8am-2pm and 9am-4pm. Taj Campton Place sells 9am-4pm and 12pm-7pm. Hotel Zeppelin sells six windows, from 8am-3pm to 3pm-11pm. Hotel Zelos sells five, from 8am-3pm to 3pm-11pm.

The network publishes two discount bands: 30-75% less than the nightly rate on the hotelSlots home page, and 40-60% less than overnight on its day-use page. The platform covers 46 states, California among them. It lists Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington as the four states where state travel laws restrict day-use bookings. Day rates move, so check the rate and the window on the day of booking.
