Four Days on the Convention Center Floor
Do it Best Corp. Fall Market runs September 25 to 28 at the Indiana Convention Center, 100 South Capitol Ave, Indianapolis. The venue forecasts 12,000 attendees. The show is the annual fall market and buying show for the co-op's independent hardware and building-supply retailers.
Four days on a show floor runs long. An attendee who drives in or flies out late needs a shower, a rest and a desk between the floor and the trip home.
What a Day Room Covers
A day-use room books for a window of hours. hotelSlots states day-use guests get the same room types and amenities as overnight guests, including Wi-Fi, a desk, a bathroom and room service, for a stay of roughly six to eight hours.
hotelSlots sells four windows: Morning 6am–12pm, Afternoon 12pm–6pm, Evening 6pm–12am and Overnight 12am–6am. Windows combine for a full day in blocks.
Windows That Fit a Show Schedule
Before the floor opens. The Morning window starts at 6am. It covers a shower and a change before the hall opens, and it holds a bag while you head out.
Mid-day. The Afternoon window runs 12pm to 6pm. Use it for a rest or a block of calls on a day you spend part of your time on the floor.
After the floor closes. The Evening window runs 6pm to 12am. Take the shower and the change there before a late flight or a drive. The venue puts Indianapolis International Airport 15 minutes away.
Two windows in one day. Book Morning and Evening together on a night you sleep elsewhere.
Where the Rooms Are
Downtown Indianapolis holds 7,100 hotel rooms. The convention center reports 4,700 of them connected to the building by skywalk, and more than half of the downtown total within blocks of the center and Lucas Oil Stadium. The venue counts 200 downtown restaurants within walking distance. A skywalk room keeps a late-September stay indoors between the hotel and the hall.

What a Slot Costs
hotelSlots states a day-use rate typically runs 30 to 75 percent below the nightly rate at the same hotel, that its network covers 103,857 hotels across 46 states, and that it charges no booking fees and no commission markup. Read those as the platform's own figures. Day-use rates move with the date and the window.
Indiana is a covered state. hotelSlots names Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington as states where travel laws restrict day-use booking.
