Gasparilla Pirate Fest runs 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, 30 January 2027 in Tampa. It holds the last Saturday in January, one week after Children's Gasparilla.

The day in four blocks

The Gasparilla Invasion Brunch runs 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Tampa Convention Center, 333 S. Franklin Street. Adults and children over two need a ticket.

The invasion runs 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Jose Gasparilla II sets sail from the south end of Hillsborough Bay, runs north into Seddon Channel between Davis Island and Harbour Island, and docks at the convention center at 1 p.m. Hundreds of vessels follow in the flotilla.

The Parade of Pirates runs 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. It begins at Bay to Bay Boulevard and Bayshore Boulevard, follows Bayshore to Brorein Street, turns east on Brorein, then north on Ashley Drive, and ends at Cass Street and Ashley Drive. The organizer puts the route at 4.5 miles and the lineup at approximately 140 units. Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla has presented the parade since 1904.

Stage performances run 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park on Ashley Drive at Twiggs Street and at MacDill Park on Ashley Drive at Whiting Street. The 2027 stage schedule is unpublished, and the info page reads 2027 Schedule TBD.

No ATMs on site

The FAQ answers the cash question in one line: since COVID-19, the event has not had ATMs on site.

Beer and wine sell at Gasparilla Charity Beer Gardens across the site. Buyers must be 21 or older and show photo identification. The organizer states that 100% of net beer garden revenue supports local Tampa Bay charities.

Reserved seating sells through GasparillaTreasures.com and by phone at 813-251-8844. The Gasparilla Parade Committee releases the parade lineup in mid-January.

The transit plan carries no date

The FAQ answers the streetcar and bus question with a promise. A PDF of the streetcar and bus services for the festival will be published later in the fall. On 22 October 2026 the page carries no link and no route list.

The parade map page reads 2027 Map TBD. A guest planning a slot around a streetcar stop has no 2027 route to read.

Parking runs on city garages

City-run garages and lots across downtown charge a special event rate paid at entry. Private lots sell passes through the businesses that own them.

Parking in the neighborhoods beside the parade route is prohibited. The organizer states that the Tampa Police Department enforces the event parking policies, that communities enforce towing along the route, and that the event is not responsible for towed vehicles.

Disabled parking sits in the Fort Brooke Garage, first come, with a permit required. The free viewing area for patrons with disabilities runs at Ashley Drive and Whiting Street and allows three guests per patron. The FAQ states that the area has no seats or bleachers.

What a downtown day room covers

Dayuse listed 14 priced Tampa properties on 22 October 2026. Four sit downtown, and every displayed price includes the booking fee.

Aloft Tampa Downtown lists $116 for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., 0.6 miles from the convention center, with a $250 comparative nightly rate.

The Westin Tampa Waterside lists $138 for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., 0.3 miles out, with a $330 comparative nightly rate.

Le Méridien Tampa, The Courthouse lists $138 for 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., 0.7 miles out, with a $305 comparative nightly rate.

Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown lists $148 for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The convention center hotel list carries The Floridan Palace Hotel at the same address, 905 N. Florida Avenue, at 1 mile.

The parade ends at 6 p.m. A 4 p.m. close lands two hours before that, with the parade still on Bayshore. A 5 p.m. close lands an hour before. The 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. window opens at the step-off and closes with the festival.

That window carries the two hours of stage programming after the parade. It prices as an afternoon product that ends when the site closes.

What the site bars

Outside food and drink are barred. Coolers are barred from the parade route, with small soft-sided coolers permitted for childcare and medical needs. Glass containers fall under a City of Tampa ordinance. Styrofoam, grills, tents, rope and fencing are barred. Pets are prohibited, apart from animals assisting the disabled.

The event runs rain or shine. EventFest reserves the right to cancel the parade if dangerous weather threatens participants or guests.

The sensory relief zone operates on Children's Gasparilla day only. The FAQ states it is unavailable at Gasparilla Pirate Fest on 30 January 2027.
