Three addresses on one Monday
The 40th Annual MLK People's Parade & Festival takes over Dallas on Monday, January 18, 2027. Elite News presents the day and bills it as one day and three celebrations.
The Corporate Breakfast opens at 7:00 a.m. at the African American Museum at Fair Park, 3536 Grand Avenue, Dallas, TX 75215.
The People's Parade steps off at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Avenue and South Lamar Street. The route runs east on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard into Fair Park.
The Community Festival opens at 12:00 p.m. at the Tower Building at Fair Park, 1221 Midway Plaza, Dallas, TX 75215.

The gap between the breakfast and the festival
The three events span five hours, from 7 a.m. to noon. Fair Park publishes no public Wi-Fi. A guest who needs to answer mail between the breakfast and the festival brings a connection or books a room.
The line-up on the boulevard
The parade assembles at Forest Avenue and South Lamar Street and enters Fair Park on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The organizer invites bands, drill teams, car clubs, riding clubs, schools, churches, civic groups, walking groups and floats.

The Dayuse Dallas city page returned 20 priced cards on 23 October 2026. Day rates without booking fees ran $55 to $220 across windows of five to nine hours, and booking fees ran $5 to $10. The page states a Dallas average of $89.77.

Hyatt Regency Dallas sells $150 against $290, 49 percent off, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The hotel at 300 Reunion Boulevard sits 2.8 straight-line miles from the Tower Building.
Comfort Inn & Suites Dallas Medical-Market Center sells $65 against $97, 33 percent off, in windows from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and noon to 8 p.m. It sits 5.6 straight-line miles from the Tower Building.
Hotel Crescent Court sells $220 against $600, 64 percent off, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Stoneleigh, Autograph Collection sells $158 against $350, 55 percent off, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Which window fits the day
The 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. window at Home2 Suites opens an hour after the breakfast starts and covers the 10 a.m. parade and three hours of the festival.
A 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. window covers the parade and five festival hours, and it opens two hours after the breakfast begins.
The platform's Morning slot runs 6AM-12PM and its Afternoon slot runs 12PM-6PM. A guest who wants the whole day books both.
The evening flight
