Two days at Moscone West

Current San Francisco 2026 runs November 4 and 5, 2026 at Moscone West, 800 Howard Street, San Francisco, CA 94103. The Moscone Center lists the event as "Confluent's flagship conference dedicated to real-time data, data streaming, and artificial intelligence" under the headline "Where Real-Time Data and AI Come Together." The organiser counts 80-plus sessions, 100-plus speakers, 50-plus partners and 3,000-plus attendees.

The published agenda splits the week three ways. Tuesday November 3 is a travel day with a speaker welcome reception. Wednesday November 4 carries the main keynote, the breakout sessions and lightning talks, the expo hall, networking and the Current Party. Thursday November 5 carries the breakout sessions, the lightning talks, the expo hall and networking.

Capacity is limited, on the organiser's own warning

The registration block carries the scarcity line: "Register early to reserve your spot, as capacity is limited and passes may no longer be available once the event reaches capacity." The same block opens with "Register now to secure your complimentary pass" and states that Current passes are available at no cost this year.

A four-step price ladder sits further down the same page, and it carries the expiry dates.

The four published pass tiers

Early Bird General Attendee is $499 and expired August 15. The Advance Individual Pass is $699 and expired October 10. The Standard Individual Pass is $899 and expires October 29. The Onsite Individual Pass is $999.

The banner above the ladder reads "Register now for $899 until October 29" and "Save $100 with Standard Pricing". That $100 is the gap between the $899 standard tier and the $999 onsite tier. On October 14 the early-bird and advance tiers have both closed, so $899 and $999 are the live figures.

Eight registration routes

The registration portal splits entry by attendee type: General Attendee, Partner, Speaker, Employee, Sponsor, Crew, Press/Analyst and Executive Summit. Two further tools sit alongside them: Sponsor Validation and a Visa Letter request.

The General Attendee pass carries the description "Access to in-person keynote, sessions, meals, and reception." The FAQ answers the speaker question: "Do speakers attend Current for free? Yes! Once you are confirmed as a speaker, you will receive instructions on how to register for free."

What a late booker still gets

Three items on the organiser's FAQ survive the price ladder. The hotel block arrives in the confirmation email, and the organiser places it "all within walking distance of the Moscone Center." A registration transfers to another person inside the same organisation by notice to current@regsvc.com, with a deadline of November 3, 2026. Cancellations run through the same address, and travel reservations and hotel reservations made directly with a hotel are the responsibility of the attendee.

Day-use slots against a two-day run

hotelSlots sells day-use rooms in four slots: Morning 6AM-12PM, Afternoon 12PM-6PM, Evening 6PM-12AM, and Overnight 12AM-6AM. The platform's glossary defines a day-use room as daytime hours of 6 to 8 hours. A booker takes one slot or combines several for full-day coverage. Day-use rates sit 30-75% below the nightly rate at the same hotel, and the platform charges no booking fee.

Both programme days open in the morning and close in the evening. A Morning slot covers the run-in to the first session and an Afternoon slot covers the back half of the day, so a booker takes one slot per day. November 4 is a Wednesday and November 5 is a Thursday. The platform's own FAQ lists Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington as states that restrict day-use bookings under state travel laws, and California is not among them.
