Eight to four in the Portland Ballroom
The 28th Annual Alzheimer's Association Caregiver Conference on Aging, Alzheimer's and Brain Health takes Portland Ballroom 251-254 and 257-258 at the Oregon Convention Center on Tuesday, November 10, 2026. The organiser prints 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The flyer prints a 4:30 p.m. close.
The Alzheimer's Association Oregon Chapter runs the day with AARP and Oregon Care Partners. The programme carries keynotes on Alzheimer's and dementia research, breakout sessions, a luncheon presentation and the Association's education and community resources. The chapter puts Oregonians providing unpaid care at 192,000.
The 2026 agenda is unpublished. The page reads "2026 Agenda Coming Soon", so the length of the gaps between sessions stays open. The venue record runs 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the same date.
Registration is required. The first 250 Oregon family caregivers register free through Oregon Care Partners and select Oregon Family Caregiver at checkout. Residency in Oregon is required, places run first come first served, and the chapter states that tickets sell out.
The gaps are the working day
Eight hours in the building carries a keynote block, at least one breakout slot and a lunch. A caregiver who runs a small business or holds a remote job takes calls in the gaps.
The convention center covers that at no cost. Wi-Fi is complimentary in all lobbies and meeting rooms, and wireless service runs throughout the building. A table in a pre-function lobby takes a laptop, a headset and a call.
What the paid tier adds
Basic Wi-Fi costs $12 per day and Business Class costs $50 per day, paid by credit card, with support on site. A live client session is the case for the card.
LocketGo lockers stand in the MLK Lobby near the main entrance, the Holladay Lobby at the north end and the Ginkoberry Concourse at the south end. The lockers are salmon-coloured and reserved with a mobile device and a credit card. A coat and a tote checked at 8:00 a.m. come back at 4:00 p.m.
The venue takes cards and touchless payment. Five ATMs sit in the pre-function lobbies and on the south Ginkoberry Concourse. A reverse ATM left of the welcome desk in the MLK Lobby loads a Visa card once from cash, with no fee.
