The venue card for the Build, Remodel & Landscape Show 2027 gives 8 to 10 January in Hall A. Show hours read Friday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The organiser, L&L Exhibition, prints the same three windows on its details page and adds the admission: adults $5, children under 18 free. The organiser names the room as Hall A/A1 against the venue card's Hall A.

Two shows in one building

The January calendar lists the Aloha Portland Showdown 2027 DI/DII in Halls B-C on 9 and 10 January. The two events share the Saturday and the Sunday in separate halls.

A bag cannot sit in the car through the afternoon, because a parking ticket carries no re-entry. The walk between Hall A and Halls B-C is where a locker earns its place.

The morning before a noon gate

Friday is the only day that opens at noon. hotelSlots sells Morning as 6 a.m. to noon, so a single morning booking expires as the floor opens. A Friday needs Morning plus Afternoon, twelve hours from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The priced cards read at 17:49 UTC on 18 October 2026 carry these windows. Royal Sonesta Portland Downtown lists $107 against $170, with a 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. window and a 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. window among its five, 0.91 straight-line miles out. Hyatt Centric Downtown lists $106 against $200, with 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., 1.12 miles out. Hotel Lucia lists $118 against $219, with 8 a.m. to noon and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., 0.90 miles out. Hotel Rose lists $112 against $450, with 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., 0.88 miles out.

Royal Sonesta's 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. window covers the noon gate and two hours of the floor. The 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. window covers the last five hours and the hour after the close. No single card in the set spans noon to 6 p.m.

Sunday and the 5 p.m. close

Sunday runs 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. A 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. window ends on the closing minute. Four properties publish it: The Nines at $159 against $450, Hyatt Centric Downtown at $106, Kimpton Hotel Vintage at $135 against $230, and Hotel Rose at $112.

A Sunday guest who wants an hour after the floor shuts needs a longer window: 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Nines, 0.96 miles out, or noon to 7 p.m. at Kimpton Hotel Vintage, 0.92 miles out.

Wi-Fi and the two paid tiers

Complimentary Wi-Fi runs in every lobby and meeting room. Individual pay-as-you-go service costs $12 a day for Basic and $50 a day for Business Class, charged to a card with support on site. The venue publishes no bandwidth figure for either tier.

Lockers at three addresses

LocketGo lockers sit at the MLK Lobby, the Holladay Lobby at the north end and the Ginkoberry Concourse at the south end. They are reservable with a mobile device and a credit card. The building runs cashless.

With Hall A and Halls B-C both live on the Saturday, a locker keeps a bag out of the walk between them.

Parking and the 18-hour rule

The garage holds 800 spaces. Standard entry is $15 for up to 18 hours with no in-and-out privileges, and over 18 hours carries additional fees. Event days carry a dynamic $15 to $25 at entry. The garage opens at 6 a.m. Overnight parking is prohibited. P1 holds 10 accessible spaces and P2 holds 11.

A three-day show takes three entries. The 6 a.m. opening sits six hours ahead of the Friday gate.

The free ticket and the door price

The organiser's ticket page asks for an email address to receive free admission. Its details page prints adults $5 and children under 18 free. The venue card routes its Buy tickets button to the same discount page.

Read the $5 as the door price and the free admission as the exchange for an email address. Confirm both at the door.

An order for the three days

Book Friday first. Morning plus Afternoon covers 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Royal Sonesta's 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. window covers the gate and two hours of the floor if one booking is preferred. Book Sunday second: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. if the plan ends with the show, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. if it does not.

The home page describes day-use rates as 30-75 percent below the nightly rate. The day-use page describes a slot as 40-60 percent below overnight. The platform states that it charges no booking fee and that the guest pays the hotel directly.

The Portland directory lists 278 hotels with addresses. A day rate comes through a request.
