Bricks Cascade puts its public exposition into Halls A-A1 at the Oregon Convention Center on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 February 2027. The venue's own event record books those halls from 10 a.m. Saturday to 4 p.m. Sunday. That 30-hour block is the only clock the venue publishes. The organiser's exposition page carries no hours grid, and the AFOL convention runs 25 to 28 February.
A morning before the doors, a hall after lunch
The gap between a 6 a.m. start and a 10 a.m. hall block is the case for a day room. hotelSlots defines that window as the Morning slot, 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Portland cards in the platform's 19 October 2026 read open between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m., so a desk window before the hall block is on sale.
Royal Sonesta Portland Downtown publishes 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at $100 against a $170 nightly rate, 0.85 straight-line miles from the doors. Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Downtown runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at $125.45 against $184.28, 0.63 miles out. Jupiter Original publishes 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at $83 against $150, 0.48 miles out. Those three cover the shapes of a Saturday: work first, a short call and straight in, or walk the floor and return.
Wi-Fi at two prices, lockers in three lobbies
The convention centre publishes complimentary Wi-Fi in all lobbies and meeting rooms. Individual pay-as-you-go service runs $12 a day for Basic and $50 a day for Business Class, paid by credit card, with support on site. A vendor running a card reader or a live inventory feed buys the $50 tier. A family checking a build list uses the free lobby signal.
LocketGo lockers take the bags. Three banks stand in the building: MLK Lobby near the main entrance, Holladay Lobby at the north end, and Ginkoberry Concourse at the south end. They are the salmon-coloured units, reserved on a phone with a credit card, and they rent short-term. A vendor carrying a case of sets does not have to walk the floor with it.
Printing is complimentary and self-serve at the Guest Experience Marketplace on the lobby level, next to the main welcome desk and across from the MLK entrance. It handles black and white on 8.5 by 11 inch paper only, so a vendor reprinting a price sheet does not hunt a business centre.
Saturday carries three events
The venue February calendar lists In10sity Dance Competition in the Oregon Ballroom and Pac West Cheer and Dance Nationals in Halls D-E across 26 to 28 February, alongside Bricks Cascade in Halls A-A1. Three live halls on Saturday 27 February means one lobby, one garage and one set of locker banks serving a family audience, a dance crowd and a cheer crowd on the same morning.
The garage holds 800 spaces, charges $15 for up to 18 hours with no in-and-out privileges, and applies a dynamic $15 to $25 rate at entry during events. It generally opens at 6 a.m. and bans overnight parking. MAX light rail stops 300 times a day at the front door.
Hotels inside a mile
Seven properties stand within 0.55 miles of the doors: Inn at the Convention Center at 420 NE Holladay Street, 0.20 miles; Hyatt Regency Portland at 375 NE Holladay Street, 0.19; Hotel Eastlund at 1021 NE Grand Avenue, 0.23; Quality Inn Downtown Convention Center at 431 NE Multnomah Street, 0.31; Courtyard by Marriott Portland Downtown/Convention Center at 435 NE Wasco Street, 0.36; Crowne Plaza Hotel at 1441 NE 2nd Avenue, 0.41; DoubleTree by Hilton Portland at 1000 NE Multnomah Street, 0.53. Distances are straight-line from the venue, measured on 19 October 2026.
None of the seven appears in the priced day-use set read at 22:30 UTC on 19 October 2026. That set carried 19 priced cards, and the nearest is Jupiter Original at 0.48 miles. Day rooms exist near the doors, and none carries a Lloyd District address.
Vendors who staff both public days
Marketplace vendors work Saturday and Sunday, and the platform sells one slot at a time. Two Morning bookings cover the sequence, and the Afternoon slot runs 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. against a 4 p.m. Sunday close, which covers a Sunday walk and a late checkout. Oregon does not appear on the brand's seller-of-travel notice, which names Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington, so both slots stay open.
The gate price is unpublished
The organiser publishes no admission price on its home page, its information page or the venue card. The venue card lists the exposition as a public event that requires tickets. Confirm the price with the organiser before booking travel.
The four-day AFOL convention sits in the same building from 25 February. Its registration page carries the pass forms and no price on the public pages read at the gate.
Order of booking
Decide which half of Saturday matters first. A 10 a.m. hall block leaves the morning free, and one Morning booking at a property that opens at 7 a.m. buys three hours of desk time. A family that wants the floor at opening time books the same slot and walks in at 10. Buy the room first, because the gate price is the one number still unpublished.
