The 2027 ASCO Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium runs January 21 to 23, 2027 at Moscone West in San Francisco.
Two days of exhibit hours
The exhibits run in person on January 21 and January 22 inside the Posters, Exhibits, and Food Room. The published hours are 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21 and 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, January 22. Those are an 11-hour floor day and an 11.5-hour floor day.
The meeting publishes no exhibit hours for Saturday, January 23. Registration stays open through 4:30 p.m. Pacific on that Saturday.
What a 7 a.m. floor day asks of the morning
Three continental breakfasts, three boxed lunches and two networking receptions are served in the same room as the exhibits, and all three are included in registration fees. Meal times post in the program closer to the Symposium.
A complimentary poster, coat and bag check runs during the Symposium. The meeting publishes its exhibitor list and floor plan on the exhibits page ahead of the meeting.
Ancillary events carry blackout times
ASCO publishes blackout times for the 2027 Symposium. Ancillary events cannot run from 8:05 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific on January 21, 7:40 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Pacific on January 22, or 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pacific on January 23.
An organisation that wants to hold a function during the Symposium files an Ancillary Event Request. An exhibitor can request a private meeting room in Moscone West through the same route.
A day room for the hours around the floor
hotelslots.org takes day-use requests in four slots: morning, afternoon, evening and overnight. A booked slot gives a private room, a desk and a shower for the block of daytime hours the guest chooses.
Day-use pricing in San Francisco, read from the Dayuse San Francisco page on October 15, 2026, ran from $91 at The Mosser Hotel to $159 at Taj Campton Place across nine San Francisco cards. The average of the nine was $128.00. Hotel Zelos listed $144 and Hotel Zetta $152. The Mosser Hotel at 54 4th Street listed windows that include 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Moscone West sits at 800 Howard Street at the corner of Fourth and Howard streets, ZIP 94103. The Mosser sits 275 metres from the building on a straight line, and Hotel Zetta at 55 5th Street sits 313 metres out. Read the floor before you book travel
Moscone Center does not have on-site parking. BART and MUNI reach Moscone West through Powell station, a short walk from the building.
Reserve a day-use room for January 21 and January 22, the two days the exhibit floor is open. A downtown slot puts a desk, a shower and a bag hold within a short walk of 800 Howard Street.
