Four Hours or Eight, on a $71 Ticket

Art Miami sells a one-day ticket at $71 that admits the holder on any single public fair day. The public window opens on Tuesday, 1 December at 4 p.m. and closes at 8 p.m. Wednesday, 2 December through Saturday, 5 December run 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, 6 December runs 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Opening night is four hours. The four days after it are eight. Sunday is seven. One price covers whichever of the three shapes a visitor can spare.

The Ladder Below and Above $71

The fair prints four public tiers. One day at $71. Senior 62 and over at $48. Student 12 to 18 at $48. Group of 10 or more at $48. Children 12 and under enter free with a ticketed adult.

Multi-day costs $184 and adds one day at Aqua Art Miami at the Aqua Hotel in Miami Beach, open 3 December through 6 December. A VIP pass costs $330 and covers the 1 December preview from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., unlimited admission across all six days, the VIP lounge outside private events, partnering museums, and Aqua from 2 December.

No public tier includes the VIP preview. Tickets are sold online only, with no box office on site. Ticketing questions go to 305-503-5181.

One Herald Plaza, and the Ninety Extra Minutes

Art Miami and CONTEXT Art Miami share the pavilions at One Herald Plaza, NE 14th Street on Biscayne Bay, Miami, Florida 33132. The site sits between the Venetian and MacArthur causeways.

The ticket page prints the one-day window for both fairs on the same line. On 1 December the CONTEXT floor stays open to 9:30 p.m., ninety minutes past the Art Miami close, so a Tuesday visit can run five and a half hours.

An Hour of It With a Guide for $25

Art Nexus runs the fair tours. One hour costs $25 per guest for a group of ten, and a private tour costs $250. Reservations go to arttours@artnexus.com.

On opening night one hour is a quarter of the visit. On a Wednesday through Saturday it is an eighth.

The Metromover Stop Is One Block Away and Free

The fair prints its own transit note. One block from the Art Miami site sits the Adrienne Arsht Metromover station, which runs the free Metromover between Brickell and Downtown Miami. The Wynwood Trolley and the Biscayne Trolley are free city circulators that connect at the same station.

A free water taxi links the fairs to Miami Beach across Biscayne Bay. Valet parking costs $30 on a first come, first served basis at the Bayshore and NE 14th Street entrance. The Omni Garage holds 2500 or more cars at 1645 Biscayne Blvd at NE 15th Street, with further entrances on Bayshore Drive and 17th Street.

Miami International Airport reads 11.4 road miles and about 23 minutes from the site on the OSRM routing check.

Suitcases Do Not Pass the Door

The fair bars large bags. Its property rules list suitcases, folding bicycles, scooters, laptops and anything larger than a handbag as items that will not be admitted. A bag and stroller check exists on site with very limited capacity and a small fee. Coats and umbrellas check free. Strollers are barred from Friday to Sunday.

Outside food and drink are barred as well, along with smoking and vaping. Five hospitality areas inside cover the gap: Plaza Bistro, Venetian Cafe and Bar, the Spris Artisan Pizza Truck, the CONTEXT Indoor Cafe, and the Sun Deck Lounge over the bay.

That bag rule puts a day room in the plan. An airport arrival carries a roller bag. The pavilion refuses it, and the on-site check holds very few.

The Closest Day Room to the Gate

The Dayuse Miami city page read on 18 October 2026 puts the average day room in the city at around $114. YVE Hotel Miami, in Downtown Miami, lists US$86 against a comparative US$220 overnight rate, 64 percent lower, with windows at 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Art Miami lists YVE as a hotel partner at 0.85 miles away. The straight-line distance from Herald Plaza reads 0.9 miles, and the OSRM routing check reads 1.2 road miles and 4 minutes.

Gale Miami Hotel and Residences, also Downtown, lists US$148 against US$370, 63 percent lower, with windows at 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Both Gale windows close before a 4 p.m. gate.

Match the window to the day. The 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. YVE window covers the whole of opening night. The 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. window opens an hour before a Wednesday gate and closes an hour before the 7 p.m. close.

Florida Sits on the Restricted List

hotelSlots covers 46 U.S. states with 103,857+ hotels offering day-use rooms. Its own FAQ carries this line: A few states (FL, HI, IA, WA) restrict day-use bookings under state travel laws.

The rates and windows in this piece come from dayuse.com, which publishes the city average and each property window. Confirm the state rule before any card is charged.

The Order to Book In

Buy the fair ticket online first, since no box office serves the door. Then pick the day and its clock: Tuesday 1 December, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Wednesday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Then book the room window against that clock, and confirm the checkout hour in writing before the card is charged. A Tuesday guest needs the 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. window. A Wednesday guest needs a window that opens at or before 11 a.m.
