Cowtown Coliseum stands at 121 E Exchange Ave in the Fort Worth Stockyards. The venue runs a two-hour show on most nights of the week, and that clock sets the door time a day room has to reach.
Two clocks in one building
The PBR Stockyards Showcase runs every Thursday. Doors open at 6:00 pm and bull riding runs 7:30 to 9:30 pm.
The Stockyards Championship Rodeo runs every Friday and Saturday. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the event starts at 7:30 pm. The matinee opens at 12:00 pm for a 1:30 pm start.
The Coliseum also hosted the NRCHA Foundation's Big Guns in Cowtown on Wednesday 21 October 2026. Twenty-two riders competed for $30,000, and $55,000 went to athlete-selected charities. The association posts the night on RideTV.
The daylight before the door
The NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity presented by Metallic Cat opened 9 October at 12:30 pm and closes 24 October at 5:00 pm. The organiser counts hundreds of three-year-old horses and thousands of spectators from the United States, Canada and abroad. The programme carries the Western Bloodstock Sale and a youth activities block, and the organiser posts RV rental through Sportsman RV Rentals on 817-372-2157.
Two Stockyards clocks fill the afternoon. The Fort Worth Herd drives longhorns down East Exchange at 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., twice daily, and the drive is free. The Behind-the-Drive Experience starts at 1:30 p.m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 129 East Exchange.
A desk block from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm reaches the 4 p.m. drive, a 6:00 pm door and a 7:30 pm start without a second booking.
The card that holds a 7:30 start
Courtyard by Marriott Fort Worth Historic Stockyards lists at $177 for the day. That figure holds a $167 rate and a $10 booking fee against a $190 comparative price. The hotel sits 0.15 straight-line miles from the Coliseum door.
Its three windows are 7:00-15:00, 8:00-16:00 and 11:00-19:00. The 11:00 window carries a 6:00 pm door and a 7:30 pm start. The other two close before the door.
The downtown card that closes at three
Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Worth Downtown lists at $123, made of a $115 rate and an $8 booking fee. It publishes one window, 10:00-15:00, at 2.67 miles from the Coliseum.
That window covers a morning of work. It ends four and a half hours before a 7:30 pm start.
Where the rest of the market sits
Fourteen cards returned for Fort Worth on the 25 October 2026 read, priced $55 to $177 with a mean of $84.14. Booking fees sit inside every figure, at $6 or $10 by card.
Holiday Inn Express Lake Worth lists at $76 with 8:00-14:00 and 11:00-17:00. Sonesta Simply Suites Fort Worth lists at $66 with 7:00-16:00, 10:00-19:00 and 14:00-23:00. Comfort Suites Fort Worth North Fossil Creek lists at $61 with 6:00-13:00, 8:00-14:00, 9:00-17:00 and 17:00-00:00. Fairfield Inn & Suites Fossil Creek lists at $75 with 10:00-18:00 and 12:00-20:00. Quality Inn West Fort Worth lists at $55 with 7:00-15:00, 9:00-17:00, 10:00-23:00 and 17:00-23:00. Days Inn South Fort Worth lists at $66 with 7:00-15:00, 10:00-17:00 and 17:00-23:00.
The set spreads across North Fort Worth, Lake Worth, Fossil Creek and the south side. The Courtyard is the only card inside the Stockyards.
Three properties the organiser lists
The Futurity page carries booking links for three Fort Worth hotels. Bowie House sits at 3700 Camp Bowie, Home2 Suites at 1145 University Drive, and Cambria Hotel at 925 Jerome St. All three carry the 76107 ZIP code. None of the three appears in the 25 October day-rate set.
What to check before paying
Match the window end to the door. A 15:00 close and a 19:30 start leave four and a half hours uncovered. A 19:00 close covers both the 6:00 pm door and the 7:30 pm start.
Windows differ by property, and no card in this set sells a block shorter than five hours.
