Ariat Arena hosts four teams on 13 December

The USLBM Coast to Coast Challenge runs Sunday, 13 December 2026, at Ariat Arena. Texas Tech plays USC. North Texas plays Texas State. One ticket admits both games.

The event page lists three schedule fields as placeholders. Doors Open reads TBD. Start Time reads TBD. Each game line reads TBD CT. Price Range reads Varies.

Total Sports Consulting produces the event. Visit Fort Worth presents it. Courtside seating, hospitality experiences and discounted group tickets are listed. Groups of nine or more book through groupsales@ariatarena.com. Single seats sell through Ticketmaster.com.

The field

Texas Tech returns to Ariat Arena for the fourth straight season and the fifth time overall. The Red Raiders beat LSU in this event last season and stand 2-2 all-time in the building. They finished 23-11 and reached the NCAA Tournament for the third straight year under Grant McCasland. JT Toppin returns with Consensus All-America honors from each of the past two seasons. Donovan Atwell returns after a program-record 130 three-pointers.

USC finished 18-14 last season under Eric Musselman, now in his third year. Alijah Arenas, Rodney Rice and Jacob Cofie return. The incoming class includes three McDonald's All Americans in Christian Collins, Adonis Ratliff and Darius Ratliff. ESPN ranks the class seventh nationally.

North Texas won 19 games last season under Daniyal Robinson. Je'Shawn Stevenson returns as the program's only returning All-American Conference selection. Texas State arrives under TJ Johnson, whose program moves into the new Pac-12.

Three arena rules that shape the day

Ariat Arena bars re-entry. A guest who leaves during the first game cannot return for the second.

Ariat Arena bars laptops, tablets and any type of personal computer. The guest guide states the rule in one line. A working afternoon belongs in the hotel room, before the door.

Bags are capped at 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches. Clear totes, small purses, small fashion backpacks, small clutches, plastic storage bags and drawstring bags all pass inside that size.

Guest WiFi runs on the AriatArenaWiFi network with no password. Door times vary by event, and this event lists its door time as TBD.

Part-day rooms priced against the date

A day-use read of Fort Worth on 26 October 2026 returned 14 priced properties. The mean slot rate came to $84.14. The floor was $55 and the ceiling was $177. Each figure carries the platform's booking fee inside it.

Quality Inn West Fort Worth lists from $55, with a 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. window among its four. Courtyard by Marriott Fort Worth Historic Stockyards lists $177, the ceiling of the set, on a window of 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Sonesta Simply Suites Fort Worth lists from $66 on a 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. window. La Quinta by Wyndham Fort Worth City View lists from $71 on a noon to 6 p.m. window. Comfort Suites Fort Worth North Fossil Creek lists from $61 on a 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. window.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Worth Downtown lists $123 on a single 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. window. That window closes before an evening door.

A TBD tip time sets the booking rule

Book the window wide enough to hold either outcome. A 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. slot covers an afternoon doubleheader and an evening one. A noon to 6 p.m. slot covers the afternoon alone.

Re-read the event page the week of the game. The venue fills the door and tip times in as the date approaches.

A same-day arrival and departure

Noon check-in. Bag down, shower, change. Leave the laptop in the room.

Drive to 1911 Montgomery Street for the door. Two games sit on one ticket. The no-re-entry rule holds you inside the building between them, and the second final horn ends the day.

Back at the room afterwards, collect the bag and hand back the key. The whole stay covers one afternoon and one evening.

Parking and the drop-off lane

The Yellow Lots open for every Ariat Arena event. The Chevrolet Parking Garage holds 2,200 spaces at 3464 Trail Drive, reached from Montgomery Street. Payment is cash or card at the lot, and the price depends on the event. The lots open three and a half hours before show start.

Rideshare pickup and drop-off sit in the Rideshare Lot at Harley Avenue and Montgomery Street, on the northwest corner of the building. During the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo the lane moves to Secretariat Drive.

Booking the window

hotelSlots sells four windows: morning 6 a.m. to noon, afternoon noon to 6 p.m., evening 6 p.m. to midnight, and overnight midnight to 6 a.m. The platform lists 103,857 hotels across 46 states, day rates 30 to 75 percent below the nightly rate, and no booking fee.

The slot you hold is the hours you pay for. Check out when the window ends and pay for that block alone.

13 December is a Sunday with four fan bases in town. Book the window once the arena publishes the tip times.
