The Fair and Its Two Dates

Art in the Park runs 10am to 4pm on Saturday 14 November and Sunday 15 November 2026. The venue is Valor Park at 1120 Farrow Parkway in The Market Common, Myrtle Beach. Admission is free.

The Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild runs the show. The guild dates itself to 1969 and dates the fair to 1972. Its own season list names three weekends for 2026: 18 and 19 April, 10 and 11 October, and 14 and 15 November. November is the last of the three.

The Market Common listing prints a When block of 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and a Cost field of Free, and its structured data stamps a start of 2026-11-14T10:00:00-05:00 and an end of 16:00. The body paragraph under that block still reads the April dates. The When block and the structured data carry 14 November.

What the Fair Claims About Itself

The guild calls the show the Grand Strand's premier outdoor show and sale, and it describes a juried field. Artists submit original work or reproductions of original work. The guild accepts no resale items and nothing outside the visual arts and crafts category. Its medium list runs painting, sculpture, woodworking, photography, jewelry, fabric, glass, metal, pottery, stone and mixed media.

Neither page publishes an exhibitor count. The guild page lists mediums and no total, and the Market Common listing carries no count.

Six Hours on the Ground

The fair window is a fixed six hours. The park runs 10:00 to 16:00 on both days, and the guild prints the same clock on its own page.

Town Center trading fills the hours around it. The Fall block in The Market Common hours table covers 7 September to 30 December, and it lists Saturday as 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday as 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A Saturday visitor gets the fair from 10 to 4 and three more hours of shops after the park clears. A Sunday visitor gets the park from 10 to 4, with Town Center opening at noon and closing at 6.

The hours table adds two qualifiers. Store and restaurant hours may vary, and individual businesses may open longer or add days.

The Luggage Desk and the Saturday Rule

The Market Common stores bags free at its Management Office, 4017 Deville St. The desk requires a valid ID.

Weekday storage needs no reservation between 8am and 5pm. Every other day and time goes through the 24/7 Property Ambassador on (843) 602-4181. 14 November is a Saturday, so the ambassador line is the one that applies.

That matters for a traveller who lands before the park opens. A 10am fair start leaves a morning arrival holding a bag with nowhere on site to leave it. The office line answers on (843) 839-3500, and the general address is hello@marketcommonmb.com.

Where a Day Room Fits

A day room covers the same morning arrival and adds a shower before the fair.

Dayuse published 10 priced cards for the Myrtle Beach area on 24 October 2026. Day rates run from $56 to $176.10, with a mean of $100.51. No card on that read states a city-wide average.

Comfort Suites Myrtle Beach Central sells 09:00 to 16:00 at $76 for the day, which is $70 without the $6 booking fee and 60 percent below its $175 nightly comparison. Its map position sits 3.26 miles straight-line from the Valor Park pin at 1120 Farrow Parkway. That window opens an hour before the fair and closes as the fair closes.

Wingate by Wyndham Myrtle Beach At Outlets sells 09:00 to 18:00 at $75 plus a $6 fee, 54 percent off a $150 night, 5.64 miles from the park.

La Quinta Inn & Suites on North Kings Highway sells 10:00 to 17:00 at $95 plus a $6 fee, 11 percent off a $100 night, 6.47 miles out. That window starts as the gates open and holds an hour past the close.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort sells 09:00 to 17:00 at $176.10 with a $10 fee, 32 percent off a $242.33 comparison, 11.59 miles from the park. Econo Lodge at the University and Suburban Studios at the University, both in Conway, sell 10:00 to 18:00 at $56 plus a $6 fee, 8.91 miles out.

Courtyard by Marriott Myrtle Beach Barefoot Landing sells 10:00 to 16:00 at $75 plus a $6 fee, 14.01 miles from the park. Comfort Inn N Myrtle Beach Barefoot Landing sells the same window at $71 plus a $6 fee, 15.35 miles out.

The Ellie Beach Resort sells 10:00 to 17:00 at $160 with a $10 fee, and DoubleTree Resort by Hilton sells the same window at $165 with a $10 fee. Those two cards return one set of coordinates, so neither carries a distance here.

Booking Order for the Weekend

Book the room for a 09:00 start on the Saturday. Ask the hotel what the seven hours come to with fees included, because every card prices a fixed block.

Ask about a late checkout on the same call. No page on this beat publishes a hotel checkout hour, so the desk holds the number that applies.

hotelslots.org sells four slots on its own platform: morning 6am to 12pm, afternoon 12pm to 6pm, evening 6pm to 12am and overnight 12am to 6am. The platform charges no booking fee and the guest pays the hotel directly. Its Myrtle Beach directory lists 399 hotels with no day rate on any listing, which is why the prices above come from the Dayuse read.

Use the morning slot for the bag and the shower, then walk to Valor Park for 10.
