Forty-nine curtains, forty-eight of them at 6 p.m.

Pirates Voyage runs its Christmas show on select dates from 4 November through 2 January. The booking calendar lists 49 performances across that 60-day window. Eleven days carry none.

Forty-eight curtains start at 6 p.m. One starts at 1 p.m., on 24 December. On every 6 p.m. date the show claims the evening, so the morning and the afternoon stay open.

What a 6 p.m. slot takes

The main show lasts approximately 90 minutes. Doors open one hour before showtime for ticket pickup and for guests to settle in. A 6 p.m. curtain holds the party from 5 p.m. to roughly 7:30 p.m.

Eleven dates carry no show: 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19 and 30 November, then 3, 7, 10 and 25 December. Christmas Day is one of them.

Where a day room fits on a 6 p.m. date

A room sold for the daytime closes before a 5 p.m. door. The question is which window ends late enough to reach 8907 N. Kings Highway without a rush.

On a 21 October 2026 read of the Myrtle Beach day-use market, ten properties carried a price. Embassy Suites by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort sells 09:00-17:00 at $176.10 and sits 1.78 straight-line miles from the theatre. La Quinta Inn & Suites on N. Kings Highway sells 10:00-17:00 at $95, 3.69 miles out. Wingate by Wyndham At Outlets runs 09:00-18:00 at $75, 8.61 miles out, the latest finish of the three.

Embassy Suites and La Quinta both stop at 17:00, the minute the doors open. A guest who wants a shower and a change before the show takes the earlier half of those windows, or books Wingate and drives.

Three cards run cheaper further out. Comfort Suites Myrtle Beach Central sells 09:00-16:00 at $76, 7.01 miles from the theatre. Comfort Inn N Myrtle Beach Barefoot Landing sells $71 across four windows including 16:00-22:00, 5.35 miles out. Courtyard by Marriott Myrtle Beach Barefoot Landing sells 10:00-16:00 at $75, 3.96 miles out, the closest card under $100.

24 December is the one midday date

The 1 p.m. matinee on Christmas Eve pulls the doors to noon. That date inverts the pattern. The room has to finish before the show.

Every window on the read starts between 07:00 and 10:00 and ends between 14:00 and 18:00. A guest checking in at 08:00 and leaving at noon holds four hours. The matinee runs about 90 minutes from 1 p.m. and lands near 2:30 p.m. A window closing at 14:00 covers the first hour of the show and none of the drive back. Read that date as a morning booking.

What the ticket covers

The 2026 edition is new. Giant Christmas toys perform acrobatics above the lagoon. A castaway runs a comedy thread with a sea lion. A live Nativity runs with wise men and an angel. The pirate battle runs on land, on deck, in water and above two full-sized ships. A four-course holiday feast runs through it.

The Christmas page names the Crimson and Emerald crews. The feast page names the Crimson and Sapphire crews.

Child tickets cover ages 3 to 9. Children 2 and under sit on an adult lap and share the meal at no charge. The kitchen runs no separate children's menu, so a dietary need goes through the special-meal request at checkout. Guests who want less noise may bring noise-reducing headphones. Bags pass a scanner at entry. Value seating sits at an angle near the ends of the performance area. Regular seating sits in the same sections, closer to the centre.

Join the Crew adds pirate or mermaid makeup before the show at $24.99 plus tax per person. The theatre answers ticket questions on 843-497-9700.

Booking the room

hotelSlots publishes 103,857+ hotels across 46 states and no booking fee. Its Myrtle Beach directory shows 399 properties and prints no rate on any card, so the prices here come from the Dayuse carousel and carry that read date. The carousel spans Horry County: two of the ten cards sit in Conway and one in North Myrtle Beach. Check the street address before booking. Every card on this read listed free Wi-Fi, and the platform states day-use rates run 30 to 75 percent below the nightly rate.

The calendar rewards a caller who books the show first. Forty-eight dates leave a full daytime to fill.
