The NCHA Futurity runs November 16 to December 12, 2026 at Will Rogers Memorial Center, 3401 West Lancaster Avenue. Twenty-seven days and twenty-six nights. The show office opens at 7:00 a.m. and the Coliseum starts its sets at 8:00. A rider entered in a single class runs a single go, so the room bill deserves its own look.
One go, then the arithmetic
The exhibitor packet publishes the advancing summary. The Open division carries 600 entries into the second go with 240 advancing, then 75 semifinalists and 20 finalists. Intermediate Open runs 216 entries to 25 finalists. Limited Open runs 73 to 25. Non-Pro carries 281 entries to 169 in the second go, then 56 semifinalists and 20 finalists. A rider who does not advance is finished inside their draw day.
The 7:00 office and the 8:00 set
The show office sits in the John Justin Coburn Room, opens at 7:00 a.m. and stays open one hour past the end of the last set each day. Back numbers come from that office, after health papers reach healthdocs@nchacutting.com with a form of payment left to cover practice works and stalls.
The Coliseum sets 8:00 a.m. from Monday 16 November through Saturday 21 November for the Open first go, and again at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday 26 November for the Non-Pro first go. The Watt Arena runs evenings, 6:00 p.m. on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November. That is ten hours between an 8:00 a.m. Coliseum set and a 6:00 p.m. Watt card.
The horse bills before the room does
The packet prices practice works at $50 for live cattle, $30 for a flag and $35 for a track cow. Stalls run $250 each, with regular shavings at $12 and queen shavings at $16. Neither office takes cash. Credit cards and checks only, plus a nonrefundable 3.0% transaction fee that the association waives on a check, wire or ACH.
The stall reservation line is 682-287-9298 and the entries address is entries@nchacutting.com. RV spaces run $35 a night in Lot 1 and $70 a night in the North Red Lot and Yellow Lot D, with no reservations taken.
Twenty-six nights against a day block
Fourteen Fort Worth properties publish a day rate on the hourly layer on a 26 October 2026 read, from Quality Inn West Fort Worth at $55 to Courtyard by Marriott Fort Worth Historic Stockyards at $177. The mean is $84.14 and the median $75, before the booking fee. Each card also lists the nightly figure it discounts from, and that is the number to hold against 26 nights.
Quality Inn West Fort Worth sits 5.04 miles out on a $55 block against an $80 nightly, which prices 26 nights at $2,080. Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Worth Downtown sits 2.16 miles out at $123 against a $149 nightly, $3,874 across 26 nights. Courtyard by Marriott Fort Worth Historic Stockyards is 3.29 miles out at $177 against a $190 nightly, $4,940 across 26. Distances are straight-line from the Coliseum at 3401 West Lancaster Avenue.
The block has to start at seven
Five cards open a window at 7:00 a.m. or earlier: Courtyard by Marriott Fort Worth Historic Stockyards on 7:00 to 15:00, Days Inn by Wyndham South Fort Worth on 7:00 to 15:00, Quality Inn West Fort Worth on 7:00 to 15:00, Sonesta Simply Suites Fort Worth on 7:00 to 16:00, and Comfort Suites Fort Worth North Fossil Creek on 6:00 to 13:00. An 8:00 a.m. set needs one of those five, and the 7:00 office needs the room before it.
No card publishes one window that carries 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The longest single window on the set is Quality Inn West at 10:00 to 23:00, thirteen hours, which misses the morning set and covers a Watt Arena evening in full. Sonesta Simply Suites publishes 7:00 to 16:00, nine hours, the longest window on the set that starts at 7:00.
What the venue hands you
The official accommodation list runs four properties: Home2 Suites by Hilton at 1145 University Drive, SpringHill Suites at 3250 Lovell Avenue, Sportsman's RV at 5015 Dick Price Road and The Crescent at 3300 Camp Bowie Boulevard. None of the four appears among the fourteen priced cards, so a rider working the day-block route picks from those fourteen instead.
Two lines sit with the packet. The association runs a strict no-dog policy in the competition arenas, and the Will Rogers 24-hour line is 817-991-8497. The NCHA office at 260 Bailey Avenue answers 817-244-6188 Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central.
The bill for one go
Add the stall at $250, the shavings at $12 or $16, and one day block at $55 to $177, and a single-go entry has a number that fits on one line. Book the block for the hours between the 7:00 office and the evening Watt card, and the gap is what the rate buys.
