The clocks on the ticket
Ariat Arena opens its doors at 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2026. TCU meets Utah State at 12 p.m. Central on ESPN, and Texas meets Ohio State at 2:30 p.m. Central on ESPN2.
Both games sit inside one working day. Wild Horse Sports Management runs the series under the name LS², short for Lone Star Series. The series returns to the same arena on December 6 for Texas against TCU at 12 p.m.
The block that covers both tips
hotelSlots sells daytime rooms in four blocks. Morning runs 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., Afternoon 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Evening 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. and Overnight 12 a.m. to 6 a.m.
A Morning block ends at the opening tip. An Afternoon block starts at the opening tip and holds the second game. A buyer who wants the room before the doors and after the second buzzer needs a property that publishes a longer window.
Windows that reach past the second tip
The 26 October read of the dayuse.com Fort Worth page lists fourteen priced day-use cards. Each price below includes the booking fee.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Worth Downtown publishes one window, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at $123. The hotel stands 2.40 straight-line miles from the arena at 1911 Montgomery Street.
TownePlace Suites Fort Worth Northwest Lake Worth publishes 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at $96 and stands 5.68 miles out.
Courtyard by Marriott Fort Worth Historic Stockyards publishes three windows, 7 to 3, 8 to 4 and 11 to 7, at $177 and stands 3.65 miles out. The 11 to 7 window runs four and a half hours past the second tip.
The cheaper cards sit farther out. Quality Inn West Fort Worth lists $55 with windows from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., 4.86 miles from the arena. Comfort Suites Fort Worth North Fossil Creek lists $61, Days Inn by Wyndham South Fort Worth $66, Sonesta Simply Suites Fort Worth $66, La Quinta by Wyndham Fort Worth City View $71 and Holiday Inn Express Lake Worth $76. The fourteen cards run $55 to $177, and the mean sits at $84.14. Every priced card stands within 8.2 straight-line miles of the arena.
The lot gate opens at 8:30
Ariat Arena opens its parking lots three and a half hours before a show start. A noon tip puts the gate at 8:30 a.m.
The Yellow Lots sit across Trail Drive from the arena. The 2,200-space Chevrolet Parking Garage sits at 3464 Trail Drive and takes arrivals from Montgomery Street. Each lot accepts cash or a credit card at the gate, and the event sets the price.
Accessible overflow parks through Gate 49 in the Chevrolet Garage. Rideshare drop-off runs at the west entrance in the drop-off lane at Secretariat Drive. Rideshare pickup runs on Harley Avenue at the north end of the building, reached by stairs or ramp from the north exit.
What the door refuses
The arena publishes a laptop rule. Laptop computers, tablets and personal computers do not enter the building. A guest who plans to answer mail through the morning needs the day room for that work.
Bags stay at or under 12 by 6 by 12 inches. Strollers stay outside. Re-entry does not exist at this venue.
Guest WiFi runs through every event on the network AriatArenaWiFi with no password. The box office opens Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at 1911 Montgomery Street. Ticketmaster is the only authorized ticket seller.
Booking the window
hotelSlots takes a city, a date and a block, then sends the request to hotels holding unsold daytime inventory. Rates typically run 30-75% under the nightly rate at the same property. Submitting costs nothing, and the guest pays the hotel for the block.
The Fort Worth directory lists 255 hotels. For the November 22 doubleheader, the practical filter is the checkout hour. Embassy Suites closes its block at 3 p.m., thirty minutes after the second tip. TownePlace Suites holds to 4 p.m. Courtyard holds to 4 p.m. and to 7 p.m. on its latest window.
Reserve before the lot gate opens at 8:30 a.m. A doubleheader fills the Yellow Lots and the Chevrolet Garage.
