Three days at 21 Magazine
The G&G Winter Market runs Friday 20 to Sunday 22 November 2026 in Charleston. The magazine's event card carries those three dates and the city, and names Explore Charleston as presenting partner. The market is a curated Southern makers sale tied to the Made in the South Awards.
Garden & Gun works from 21 Magazine Street, Suite 200, the Charleston address on its contact page, and the 2025 market ran at the magazine's headquarters. The 2026 card names the city alone.
What the organiser publishes
The event card carries the dates, the city and the presenting partner. It carries no floor hours, no ticket price, no venue address and no exhibitor list. The magazine's winter-market archive adds one line about curated makers and seasonal goods. A vendor planning a day around the floor has to ask the organiser for the clock.
That gap sets the booking. A maker books a window that holds a session which opens late or runs long, and confirms the floor hours before the order goes in.
The day-use shelf, read 25 October 2026
Seven day-use cards come back on the Charleston carousel, and every rate below carries its booking fee.
Two cards open at 07:00. Comfort Inn and Suites Charleston Airport Convention Center sells 07:00 to 14:00 at $100. Comfort Inn and Suites North Charleston Northwoods sells the same window at $100. Either puts a maker at a desk from 7 a.m.
Three cards open at 08:00. Quality Inn Coliseum North Charleston sells 08:00 to 14:00 at $81. Best Western Patriots Point sells 08:00 to 14:00 at $85. Econo Lodge Goose Creek sells 08:00 to 14:00 at $76.
Windows that hold a whole session
Two cards sell a single 10:00 to 18:00 window: Quality Inn Coliseum at $81 and StayAPT Suites North Charleston at $96. Two sell 10:00 to 17:00: Comfort Inn Northwoods at $100 and Comfort Inn Airport Convention Center at $100. Embassy Suites by Hilton Charleston Airport sells 09:00 to 17:00 at $135.75.
A floor that runs 10 to 6 sits inside a 10:00 to 18:00 window. A floor that closes at five sits inside the 10:00 to 17:00 cards. No card in the set runs past 23:00, so an evening session falls to the two 17:00 to 23:00 windows at Best Western for $85 and Econo Lodge for $76.
Where the rooms are, measured from 21 Magazine
None of the seven sits on the peninsula. Best Western Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant is the closest at 2.87 straight-line miles, across the Ravenel bridge. Comfort Inn Airport Convention Center measures 7.59 miles. Embassy Suites measures 7.73. Quality Inn Coliseum measures 7.93. Comfort Inn Northwoods measures 12.50. StayAPT measures 15.72. Econo Lodge Goose Creek measures 16.86.
Fee-inclusive day rates across the set run $76.00 to $135.75, with a mean of $96.25.
The hotelSlots directory for Charleston lists 253 hotels with street addresses, among them peninsula properties such as Andrew Pinckney Inn at 199 Church Street and Church Street Inn at 177 Church Street. No listing publishes a day rate, so a buyer prices the trip from the cards above.
The desk and the shower
hotelSlots describes the room as a quiet professional space with Wi-Fi, a desk and ergonomic seating, privacy for calls, and amenity access between calls. Its day-pass guide lists pool, gym, Wi-Fi and shower access with the booking.
For a maker that covers the practical list. Somewhere to leave the sample cases. Somewhere to take a call off the floor. Somewhere to change before an evening session.
The market card publishes no hotel clocks and no floor clock. Pair the card window to the trading hours the organiser confirms, and leave the bridge crossing in the plan.
Booking the base
hotelSlots sells four windows: Morning 6AM to 12PM, Afternoon 12PM to 6PM, Evening 6PM to 12AM and Overnight 12AM to 6AM. The platform lets a guest combine slots for full-day coverage. It states day-use prices typically run 30 to 75 percent below the nightly rate at the same property, with no booking fees and payment made to the hotel. It lists 103,857 hotels across 46 states.
A vendor trading three days books the morning window on each day and keeps the room count to one. A buyer working two days takes a single 10:00 to 18:00 window and covers both sessions from a base 7.9 miles out.
