Four-hour Sunday makes the Greek festival a day-use window

The 58th Fort Worth Greek Festival runs November 13, 14 and 15, 2026 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2020 NW 21st Street. Entry is free. Parking is free.

Three clocks, two shapes

Friday and Saturday run 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sunday runs 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The weekend opens with a pair of twelve-hour days and closes with a four-hour one. That is the window a day block has to be built around.

What the short Sunday costs

The kitchen publishes its own clock. Leg of lamb starts at 5:00 p.m., and the dinner combo is served after 5:00 p.m. Sunday closes at 3 p.m., so neither reaches the Sunday crowd. Anyone driving in for the lamb needs Friday or Saturday, and needs somewhere to be between the afternoon and the evening service.

The menu also sells beyond the plate. Frozen pastitsio, moussaka, dolmathes and spanakopita go by the pan from inside the Kouzina. Boxed pastries and breads go by the half dozen and the dozen. Byzantine Coffee sells at $18 a bag. A four-hour Sunday visit that ends with a cooler of frozen pans has a storage problem, and a day room with a fridge solves it for the hours between the purchase and the drive home.

What a block buys

A family splitting up for the afternoon needs a base, not a bed. A day block buys the room for the hours it is used, and it clears before the evening. hotelSlots describes the product as pay by the hour, with morning, afternoon, evening or overnight slots and no overnight commitment. Its directory lists 255 Fort Worth properties.

Sunday is the easy fit. All fourteen priced Fort Worth cards publish a block that covers 11:00 to 15:00, read on October 26, 2026. Friday and Saturday are the harder ones: a 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. day needs a mid-afternoon reset, and eight of the fourteen blocks run to 20:00 or later.

The priced inventory

Fourteen Fort Worth properties publish a day rate on the hourly layer, from Quality Inn West Fort Worth at $55 to Courtyard by Marriott Fort Worth Historic Stockyards at $177. The mean is $84.14, the median $75, and each figure includes the booking fee.

Distances to the church, straight-line. Courtyard by Marriott Fort Worth Historic Stockyards is nearest at 1.28 miles, $177, on 7:00 to 15:00, 8:00 to 16:00 and 11:00 to 19:00 blocks. Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Worth Downtown sits 2.99 miles out at $123 on a 10:00 to 15:00 block. Holiday Inn Express Lake Worth NW Loop 820 sits at $76 on 8:00 to 14:00 and 11:00 to 17:00 blocks. TownePlace Suites Fort Worth Northwest Lake Worth sits at $96 on a single 9:00 to 16:00 block.

Parking, shuttle and the rest of the practical list

Festival parking sits at North Side High School, 2211 McKinley Avenue, with a shuttle to the church. The school measures 0.21 straight-line miles from the church door. Free entry and free parking both hold, and the shuttle is the published way in from the lot.

The festival runs indoors or under tents, rain or shine, so weather does not change the plan. Sanctuary tours run with Fr. Nicholas. Payment is the one item to prepare for: the site prints a line saying food and drink purchases can be made with cash, credit or debit, and prints a second line reading no tokens, credit cards only. Carry both and expect the card to work.

What the site does not publish

The festival schedule page still carries last year's dance grid, dated Friday November 7, Saturday November 8 and Sunday November 9. No 2026 dance times are published. The church tour grid on that page carries the older layout. Ask at the information table on the day, or call 817-626-5578, before planning a visit around a dance set that may not be on this year's card.

Build the block around the hours the festival publishes. Sunday is four hours and closes before the lamb. Friday and Saturday are twelve, and the room is what carries a guest from the lunch combo through to the evening service.
