Three Days, One Clock
DIY CON runs November 6, 7 and 8, 2026 at Centennial Hall in Fair Park. Fair Park’s event page and the organiser’s tickets page both print 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on each of the three days.
The organiser sells 3-Day, 1-Day, VIP Experience and Kids tickets. A one-day badge admits one adult for one date and carries the show floor, the panels, the workshops and the special experiences.
One Badge, One Day, One Price
Adult single-day badges start at $47.63. That figure includes the ticket, the service fee and 8.25 percent sales tax.
Children 5 and under enter free and need no ticket. Children 6 to 12 need a Kids ticket, and the door asks for proof of age.
Early-bird pricing runs through October 23, 2026 and saves up to $24. The first 200 discounted tickets are gone, and the tickets page keeps a 50 percent code, DIY50, running through Sunday, October 25 at 11:59 PM Central. Every ticket is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-resalable. A lost badge costs full price to replace, and every badge needs activation once it arrives.
Badge Pickup Prints an Eight O’Clock
Will-Call runs at the Centennial Building and at the Front Entrance of Fair Park. Thursday, November 5 runs 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Centennial Building only. Friday and Saturday run 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Sunday runs 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
The Friday and Saturday pickup hour sits two hours ahead of the floor. That gap is the working window.
What the Park Publishes About Working There
Fair Park answers the Wi-Fi question in its own FAQ: there is no public Wi-Fi available at Fair Park. A visitor who plans to clear email between badge pickup and the 10:00 AM opening needs a connection of their own.
Fair Park is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and the FAQ routes general entry through gates 5 and 6. Parking is free to the general public on non-event days and priced per event on show days, and no overnight parking is allowed.
DIY CON’s FAQ prices park parking at $15 per day and names two DART stations plus rideshare drop-off points outside the park entrances.
The organiser prints Fair Park Dallas, 1001 Washington St, Dallas, TX 75210. Fair Park’s own footer prints 3809 Grand Avenue, Dallas, TX 75210.
Animals and Age, on Two Pages
DIY CON’s FAQ states that only service animals are allowed inside Fair Park. Fair Park’s FAQ states that leashed pets are always allowed at Fair Park. Ask the organiser before bringing an animal.
The organiser recommends that anyone under 18 attend with a parent or legal guardian and requires that anyone under 13 be accompanied at all times. Workshop participation is open to guests 18 and older. Hands-on places need an advance reservation, and watching from the room runs first-come, first-served.

The Arithmetic of a Single Badge
Friday and Saturday run a ten-hour day in the park: badge at 8:00 AM, floor at 10:00 AM, close at 6:00 PM. An 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. room covers the pickup hour, the two hours before the floor and five of the eight show hours.
Sunday opens pickup at 8:30 AM and keeps the floor on the same 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM clock. Will-Call closes at 5:30 PM that day.
The nearest card costs $109 with its fee, and parking runs $15. One badge day totals $171.63 with the $47.63 badge.
